Good clean hotel. Centrally located

Incredible stay, comfortable beds, delicious food, and various family friendly activities for an additional cost. It was perfect for the 3 of us.

Property was amazing and staff are very warm and helpful. Trails on the property are very nice. Definitely do the night tour as the guide was able to find sloths, tarantulas, green viper, and kinkajou. We did not use the pool. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and very good food.

We cannot express how much we loved our stay here. The front desk team was incredibly attentive, helpful, and paid great attention to every detail. They even managed to do our laundry and return it within just a few hours. The food and restaurant were wonderful, and the entire property felt like a peaceful, beautifully maintained garden. Everything was spotless and relaxing. We especially loved the deck and the stream beside our pool, it made the experience even more special. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and booking tours through the hotel was effortless. A special mention to Denise at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Also the location is walking distance to nice local restaurants and shops. We would happily return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and exceptional getaway.

We stayed at Monteverde Lodge for 3 nights and booked tours with them. The Concierge services were really helpful in organising transport to and from the hotel as well as tours. We started with a night tour and the following days went to Sky Park and Monteverde Cloud Forest. The transport was efficient. The Guides were fantastic- very knowledgable, friendly and were able to show us a wide range of wild life, flora and fauna. The spoke excellent English. The staff at the hotel were equally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with very comfortable bed. The meals were delicious. We would highly recommend staying at the Lodge. It was easy to walk to the shops and restaurants in nearby Santa Helena

The Location was excellent, close to restaurants and supermarkets. The room was very spacious with a view of the surrounding hills. There were several trails on the property which were beautiful and interesting. I saw a family of Coati's one afternoon feeding on a tree at the edge of the property. That was a great experience. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was very helpful and several tours were booked through the hotel. It was a three hour drive from San Jose to Monteverde but it was a relaxed drive. Driving in Costa Rica is fairly easy.

It is relaxing and beautiful here. We enjoyed the nature trails, walked to town to eat, had amazing breakfasts and beet ice cream! I love the eco friendly touches. We would highly recommend this resort.

Stayed for 2 night, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The service was top-notch — every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the stay. The food at the hotel was also outstanding. Every dishes we had were high quality, fresh, and well-prepared. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Beautiful hotel on beautiful grounds. Our room opened to gardens and a stream. The food was amazing. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the trails around the hotel site. We loved our stay and plan to return. Highly recommend staying here.

EXCELENTE HOTEL, ME GUSTO MUCHO LA COMIDA, DE VERDAD MUY BUENA, LA ATENCIÓN EN GENERAL DEL PERSONAL FUE BUENA, LAS RECEPCIONISTAS SUPER AMABLES Y RAPDAMENTE NOS ORGANIZARON UNA ENTRADA A UNA PARQUE. ME HUBIERA GUSTADO QUEDARME UNA NOCHE MAS TAMBIEN PARA DISFRUTAR MAS DE LAS INSTALACIONES.

Our room lacked a tv and ac but we did not miss it as we were out and about most of the time.

The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the trails around the property. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfasts and one diner we had was excellent.

Clean room and the staff even added an extra bed for the third guest we registered.

We had a fantastic time. The tours we booked through the concierge were excellent and our tour guides were truly special. Their enthusiasm was infectious. The resort staff very accommodating and cheerful and the food was outstanding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy very well. I highly recommend this hotel and destination.

All the staff were amazing. Friendly, happy, attentive and helpful. The included breakfast had excellent variety and freshness. We stayed 4 days and ate most of our meals in the Lodge's restaurant. All meals were delicious and their menu has more than enough variety. The gardened grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our room looked out on the gardens and we could hear the sound of the running stream from our private patio. The room was clean and the daily housekeeping and turndown service was impeccable. The grounds had wonderful paths through the cloud forest which were worth walking daily to see and listen to the birds and white-faced capuchins.

Monteverde Lodge est bien situé par rapport aux activités extérieures. L’établissement est propre, chambre ageable mais très peu de rangement.
