Property was amazing and staff are very warm and helpful. Trails on the property are very nice. Definitely do the night tour as the guide was able to find sloths, tarantulas, green viper, and kinkajou. We did not use the pool. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and very good food.

We cannot express how much we loved our stay here. The front desk team was incredibly attentive, helpful, and paid great attention to every detail. They even managed to do our laundry and return it within just a few hours. The food and restaurant were wonderful, and the entire property felt like a peaceful, beautifully maintained garden. Everything was spotless and relaxing. We especially loved the deck and the stream beside our pool, it made the experience even more special. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and booking tours through the hotel was effortless. A special mention to Denise at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Also the location is walking distance to nice local restaurants and shops.
We would happily return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and exceptional getaway.

We stayed at Monteverde Lodge for 3 nights and booked tours with them. The Concierge services were really helpful in organising transport to and from the hotel as well as tours. We started with a night tour and the following days went to Sky Park and Monteverde Cloud Forest. The transport was efficient. The Guides were fantastic- very knowledgable, friendly and were able to show us a wide range of wild life, flora and fauna. The spoke excellent English. The staff at the hotel were equally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with very comfortable bed. The meals were delicious. We would highly recommend staying at the Lodge. It was easy to walk to the shops and restaurants in nearby Santa Helena

The Location was excellent, close to restaurants and supermarkets.
The room was very spacious with a view of the surrounding hills.
There were several trails on the property which were beautiful and interesting. I saw a family of Coati's one afternoon feeding on a tree at the edge of the property. That was a great experience.
Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
The staff was very helpful and several tours were booked through the hotel.
It was a three hour drive from San Jose to Monteverde but it was a relaxed drive. Driving in Costa Rica is fairly easy.

We had a fantastic time. The tours we booked through the concierge were excellent and our tour guides were truly special. Their enthusiasm was infectious.
The resort staff very accommodating and cheerful and the food was outstanding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy very well.

All the staff were amazing. Friendly, happy, attentive and helpful.
The included breakfast had excellent variety and freshness.
We stayed 4 days and ate most of our meals in the Lodge's restaurant. All meals were delicious and their menu has more than enough variety.
The gardened grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our room looked out on the gardens and we could hear the sound of the running stream from our private patio.
The room was clean and the daily housekeeping and turndown service was impeccable.
The grounds had wonderful paths through the cloud forest which were worth walking daily to see and listen to the birds and white-faced capuchins.
