This was our second stay at Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort. We returned because our first visit was a very positive experience, and we were genuinely looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this time the experience was quite mixed and overall disappointing. The most noticeable issue was that the service felt very much on autopilot. Staff were generally polite, but there was very little sense of personal attention or engagement with guests. It often felt as if routines were being followed without really seeing the people they were serving. Already upon arrival we experienced a problem. Right outside our room there was an overflowing service disposal box that normally should be emptied regularly. It remained there for more than 24 hours and attracted birds and insects, which is not exactly the welcome you expect at a resort of this level. Our swim up pool also had issues. When we arrived there was a used condom and other debris in the water, which clearly had not been removed during the pool cleaning. In addition, pool chemicals were added during daytime hours without any clear indication that the pool should not be used afterwards, which raised some safety concerns. The noise level around activities was also surprisingly high compared with the number of participants. Often there were very few guests attending the dance or gym activities, yet the music volume was extremely loud. The same applied during breakfast and late evening hours, which made it difficult to relax.

At 56 years of age and very well travelled, I can honestly say I have never experienced this level of service anywhere I’ve stayed. The hotel is immaculate, spacious and exceptionally well maintained, and everything feels calm, organised and effortless. We stayed for 10 days in January in a swim-up room, and the pool was beautifully heated and very warm, which made a huge difference at that time of year. The adults-only pool was also heated, and there were always plenty of people using the main pool too, so we assume that was heated as well. The staff throughout the hotel are outstanding — genuinely friendly, attentive and always willing to help. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and the level of service is consistent everywhere. The food is excellent, with a fantastic choice of à la carte restaurants including Mongolian, Italian, Indian and Egyptian, and you can dine in them as many times as you like during your stay, which we haven’t experienced in Egypt before. You can snorkel straight off the jetty, and there’s also a sandy beach with a shallow area that’s ideal for paddling. The hotel grounds are beautiful and easy to walk around, and everything is kept spotlessly clean. This hotel is honestly faultless and without doubt one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I stayed all-inclusive and couldn't find a single thing to fault!

Beautiful property, lovely views. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Very generous all inclusive. Was a bit painful leaving. They really pamper you.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort, and it was truly an excellent experience. The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive, always ensuring that every need was taken care of with genuine hospitality. Their warm and welcoming attitude made the stay even more enjoyable I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

My wife and I spent 5 days here and had the best time! The Posh Club facilities were wonderful and everyone made every effort to make us feel as spoilt and comfortable as possible! Special thanks to Merna, Talaal, Shady, Mohamed Safwat, El Qassem, Ibrahim, Abdallah, Fathy and Zeyad, and everyone else that made our stay so nice and memorable! We definitely will be back again.

Amazing hotel and holiday! The facilities at this hotel are brilliant and the location is great. There is a big pool and small water park for children but we spent most of our time around the very peaceful adults only pool. The staff around this pool made the experience amazing. Amr (bartender) made excellent drinks, especially his cocktails! He was very attentive and always remembered what drinks we wanted at different parts of the day, as well as all of the other people around the adult pool. Mahmoud (lifeguard) was fantastic, and more than just a lifeguard. He kept the area very clean, regularly checking if everyone was okay. He would make sure our sun beds were facing the sun when we arrived in the morning and after lunch and offered to clean our sunglasses when needed. Amr and Mahmoud were the best! All other members of staff are extremely friendly and helpful too, from the cleaning staff, reception staff, gardeners, restaurant staff etc. The cleaning staff kept the whole hotel and rooms spotless, and also made lovely decorations in the rooms out of flowers and towels. We did not have any bad experiences. There are plenty of restaurants and a buffet restaurant which all had fantastic food. There are a few bars which were all nice, but Latitude was a great spot in the evening for music and cocktails. The beach is nice and has an adult only section. There’s plenty of entertainment, but also plenty of quieter places to relax. Overall fantastic hotel and holiday! 10/10

The property is stunning and the staff are amazing,do not however book through Expedia as I had to settle my bill on checkout as despite several requests for payment from the hotel it wasn’t forthcoming,avoid Expedia at all costs unless you want the miserable experience that I am going through.

Ho soggiornato al posh club e mi sono trovata benissimo, servizi esclusivi, spiaggia riservata, un ristorante sempre a disposizione e la sera si possono prenotare diversi ristoranti a là carte, è tutto incluso. E l’ospitalità egiziana è sempre la migliore!
