Hotel was OK, a little tired and could do with updating. We booked an “Executive room” that was more expensive but wasn’t very big and had quite a small bathroom, so I don’t know what a standard room would be like c

Helpful and friendly staff at breakfast. The room was a good size & cleaned well.

I only met the cleaning lady, she was helpful and polite and the receptionist when booking in, she was not the regular receptionist but was polite and presentable. Large clean towels, a good shower system and plenty of heat in room .. good

All the staff were great and the place is extremely dog friendly. The 6 acre field to the rear is perfect for dog walks without having to leave. The breakfasts were very good and the room was always clean. Would definately stay again and choose Aubrey Park over a chain hotel.

The bathroom door did not close and despite reporting this issue to reception and requesting a room change when it couldn’t be fixed, we were told there was nothing that could be done.

Room - Dark fluid spill on wall, dirt/marts on carpet, light shade too low (kept hitting head). No wifi/Extreme poor wifi, approx 6pm fire alarm intermittently sounding.

No Internet while I stayed for a week, needs modernising

The bar lounge area require some background music or tv on to create ambiance rather than loneliness. Staff were friendly and helpful but they didn't appear happy. Hotel overall requires some TLC with decoration. Overall experience was solemn, lonely and drab for me but all else perfect.

Friendly staff. Good facilities for our corporate event. Decor a bit tired and dated, but the room was clean and the bathroom serviceable. Would appreciate it if the massive potholes coming into the hotel drive were filled. Good size carpark that felt secure.

Cot was not available as late booking . Room was freezing with no heating and we all got sick . No wifi at all and no coverage either . Phone to call reception in the room faulty .

Hotel was fine and slept well. Breakfast had a good choice. Room had been updated over the last year or so. Some areas of the hotel a little dates. Would stay here again

Hotel has been beautiful once, but this was many years ago. It is nowhere near a four star now. Corridor’s and rooms in need of refurbishment, wifi not working in bedroom. Breakfast buffet selection ok but food not hot, dining room like the rest of the hotel is looking tired.

I stay here regularly when visiting family. It’s clean, very quiet and the staff are lovely which is why I keep going back. The bar and dining room are good although I’ve only ever eaten breakfast here. It’s a bit tired, but inexpensive and the perfect location for me. I’ve also stayed with my dog on previous occasions which is wonderful. The gardens are beautiful in the summer too.

Clean, convenient and good value

Reception was not manned when I arrived and when someone did come he was more concerned about making sure the restaurant closed than speaking to me but check in was quick once he turned his attention to me. My mattress was very firm and uncomfortable which meant I did not have a good night’s sleep. The sheets also had some stains on them. However parking was easy and the hotel location was good. The breakfast was also good with plenty of choice.

Upon arrival it smelt a hit like an old pub . It was late and the bar I suspect had been busy. The decor was tired in reception so we were a little apprehensive, in need of a good nights sleep. We needn’t have been concerned the room although dared was clean, the bed was comfy sheets good quality and the towels too. All we needed , quiet too. In the morning a really good buffet breakfast.

Our stay was for two people, yet there was only one set of towels in the room. The hotel itself is in a great location but rather dated.
