My wife and I stayed for one night at The Balmoral. While the room and bathroom were small, they served our purposes very well.
Staff were helpful, check in and out were easy and the complimentary breakfast was good.
We would definitely stay here for another short term London stay. The premises were very clean.

패딩턴역 근처라 대중교통 이용하기가 쉬웠고 근처에 식당과 마트도 많아서 편리합니다.하우스 호텔이라 객실은 작지만 조용하고 깨끗하고 조식은 따뜻하게 조리된걸 바로 차려주어서 먹기좋았어요. 짐도 보관해주니 잠만자고 여행하기 바쁜 우리가족에겐 좋았어요.

5인 가족이 방 2개를 몇달 전에 예약했는데, 1층과 4층이였어요. 엘리베이터가 없습니다. 런던이 워낙 숙소들이 작기는 한데, 여기도 마찬가지였고, 특히 3인실이 작았어요. 아침식사는 평이했지만, 친절했습니다. 4층 객실은 수압이 너무 낮아서, 사용하는 동안 조마조마했어요. 만약 다시 런던에 간다면, 다른 곳을 예약하고 싶습니다.
지내는 동안 너무 힘들었어요.

So I stayed in a single room (5th floor and no elevator).
It was tiny and the condition of the furnitures were not good at all. Maybe my room was on 5th floor, the water pressure was not enough to have a shower. Yet, they had separate 'shower room' right beside the room where I took shower instead of my washroom.
Staffs were kind and helpful. Also, the location is excellent where the tube station is within 5 min. walking distance.
I have no idea how the family room or double room are like but a single room in Balmoral House hotel? Not recommended.

The only good thing was the breakfast and the location. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in. It was hotter than hell and there is no air. The one window needed to be open day and night for air or I think someone could literally die in there. I get it, London is normally not as hot as when we stayed in July, but I would thoyit would always be a bit too warm and stuffy. One window, no screen, 3 cramped beds for the family room and it had the absolute smallest shower and bathroom. It was so terrible we had to laugh. No air flow in summer with a fan that didn't even work. It was miserable.

If you have any mobility issues, be aware that there is no elevator in this B&B.
Having said that, the room was quiet, the bed was comfy, the shower worked, free (instant) coffee and tea in the room was most welcome, and the breakfast was ample. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to Paddington Station and to Kensington and Hyde Parks. The Balmoral represents very good value for money.

Unhelpful check in staff. Be aware that , while the website says check in closes at 2300, it doesn’t state that means the reception isn’t staffed and therefore even if you have checked in before 1400 and there fore can’t get to your room, but plan to return after 2300 you will not be able to collect your room key! No air conditioning. Noisy fan supplied was ineffective. Quite noisy with window open with road traffic. However, room was clean and it was walking distance to our concert in Hyde Park.

No AC and the fan wasn’t strong enough. We requested another one but they didn’t have extra. Also, the room was in a 4 floor without elevator. At 6:30 am the traffic woke up us every morning.

Location is excellent. Only a few blocks to Paddington Station. Breakfast was good. Very small bathroom but clean. No air conditioning but that's not unusual for the area. Desk person was very helpful with answers to my questions. No elevator.

Firstly, the staff I interacted on the front desk and at breakfast were all polite and efficient.
However, the pillows were awful and the bed was on a slant making for a very poor night's sleep.
Most disappointingly, when I arrived home, I realised that my Apple Pencil had dropped off of from the magnet on my iPad. The only time that I unpacked that particular part of my rucksack was in the hotel room so I immediately contacted the hotel via the Expedia chat that my confirmation had been sent via. No response after 24 hours so I then tried contacting them via their own website 'Contact Us' page. Now, eight days later I've still had no response.
I can't recommend this hotel.

I read reviews of the fourth floor w no elevator and figured I was fine with that. But holy cow. The stars into the top floor are like an attic. Nearly impossible to drag your suitcase up. Beds old, pillows flat, staff not very friendly. It was FINE. But was happy to leave.
