You can never go wrong with Double Tree by Hilton in Marble Arch. The place is near to park,cafe,restaurants,train station. The room is tidy and the staff are very helpful. That’s why everywhere we go it’s always Double Tree by Hilton.

Red Flag: Hung “Housekeeping” sign and light but no housekeeping done. When “Do not disturb” sign and light was signalled, room was clean and reset but I left all my personal belongings open and unlocked - I hung the DND for a reason why would you go in? It felt so unsafe and broken of trust, nothing was stolen but I’m confused at their housekeeping practices??? Everything else is borderline alright, location is seconds away from Oxford Street with lots of convenient shops around for daily necessities as well. Other parts that raised brows and caused me to give 3 stars overall: - Fourth floor renovation so new the TV is displayed but not set up for watching, didn’t bother to raise because I don’t even watch TV - No telephone to reach concierge in room, front desk told me to come down every time if I needed - Besides the tall Indian door man, all other staff weren’t particularly friendly. I don’t need you to be a god but they definitely were ill tempered.

Nice hotel in a great location, very slow service in the reception. I had booked a premium room, but it was located on the lower ground floor. Nice room, but no window to open and noise from the street outside and employees using a washing machine which was placed just outside the room.

Very clean and modern. Excellent staff Breakfast was very expensive and not much selection of beer/ale

Lots of shops nearby but hard to find the local restaurants. Staff couldn’t give directions. Service charge was high on everything including serve your own breakfast!

The room was clean but the outside noise is too much.. it makes hard to sleep

Staff good, rooms small side, rooms noisy close to road and wasn’t finished (painted/gaps around architrave) , no kettle/biscuits Value for money versus premier Inn, not good, would stay at Premier Inn.

Very helpful and friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. Room very clean, and well stocked (bathroom items, tea, coffee etc). Ideal location. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
