Our deluxe room felt more like a bunker in the basement. Really not what we expected for the price. The bathroom in the room had no door, offering absolutely no privacy. To top things off, my partner suffered food poisoning. Avoid.

Room was very clean. Comfy bed. And lovely modern bathroom. Very quiet. Reception very welcoming. Pool felt nice & warm but didnt get chance to try it out. Didnt eat here so no comment on food.

Stunning accommodation. Staff was excellent. The restaurant was disappointing - bland food, over priced wine, limited pastry choices for breakfast

Cosy room nice but opposite lift door so very noisy

We stayed for one night and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the heating in the room wasn’t working when we arrived, but when we reported it to reception they were helpful and quickly provided a portable heater, which warmed the bedroom well enough. There was a noticeable amount of mould present in the bathroom, which isn’t something you expect at this price point. The layout of the bath/shower also means there is a window and windowsill within, so water splashes directly onto the sill and blinds when showering. Combined with the mould and the flaking paint around the window, it made the bathroom feel quite run down and in need of maintenance. On the positive side, the bed, pillows and duvet were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The curtains also did a great job of blocking out the light. Overall, the stay was comfortable enough for one night, but given the price and the expectations that come with a Hotel du Vin, the room felt a little tired and not quite worth the cost. It has the feel of a luxury hotel, but one that could benefit from some maintenance and updating. Toby on reception was very friendly and helpful.

Great Staff.

Such a lovely place to stay and so handy you can pre book a parking space by calling the hotel! (Bit pricey but at least it’s at the hotel!) Staff are very helpful and always polite! There is a lovely lady at breakfast - so friendly and I’m always usually in a row so she makes sure the order isn’t held up! Don’t hesitate to stay here! You won’t be disappointed

Room was lovely, super bath! Very comfortable, staff were all great, especially Martin and Steven in hospitality, dining, I was a women travelling alone and felt comfortable in all areas of the hotel.

NearlyEverything

We so enjoyed our stay at the elegant Hotel du Vin. It surpassed our expectations. The staff at reception were welcoming and friendly, in fact all the staff we spoke to were very helpful. We had a beautiful room with a high ceiling and tall windows, looking onto the garden. It was spotlessly clean. We were happy we had booked parking as it was so nice to arrive at the hotel and find a space at the front of the hotel with our name on it! I loved swimming in the outdoor heated pool - such a treat in January! A lovely stay, thank you, and we plan to return.

O hotel além de lindo é histórico. A localização é perfeita. Tem estacionamento no hotel mas é necessário reserva, mas tem um estacionamento público bem próximo. O quarto é muito bem decorada, com uma cama macia e tamanho do quarto agradável. O hotel tem um área externa gostosa e agradável. Café da manha excelente e o restaurante é perfeito.
