As always our stay at lumley castle was amazing. All staff are lovely, room was clean and tidy.

Room was amazing but only issue it was way to hot after 1st morning waking with a headache due to heat i asked reception if could they maintenance team check the thermostate as he said he get someone to check sadly after 3 nights 2 morning waking up with heafache no one came. We had windows opened but never helped . Very upset However the hitel is amazing and food and cocktail excellent. But please sort room out few other talked about over breakfast . Rooms are lovely even the court yard ones we had nice large cosy room. Staff great.

Really enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed a romantic drink and meal, in beautiful surroundings. Food amazing. Breakfast was fab too.

Business visitor stayed on prepaid breakfast - 1 coffee, 2 slices of toast - £24 - our visitors have asked us not to book them in here again.

It's a Beautiful castle, nice rooms, but could do with a bit love. The evening meal was superb, if just a tad too salty. The breakfast was mainly inedible, the bacon was hard and fatty, the hash brown was undercooked and pale, the scrambled eggs were so salty that I couldn't eat them, the sausage was nondescript, the tomato was undercooked, the very small selection of pastries were stale, breakfast paid separately was charged at £23.95 per head!! I wouldn't have paid £5 for it. The staff seemed uninterested, nobody asked why we had left our cooked breakfast, complained to front desk about it, the response was I'll let them know. We won't be going back.

Parking was a problem due to an event,. Residents parking not safeguarded and had to park on grass well away from room on the exit road

Amazings room, friendly staff. And just the attention to detail in the decor for a room in castle was outstanding. Didn't see any ghosts :(

Staff are superb and whole stay was excellent in every aspect!

The trip was for a birthday treat for my daughter and partner, both said everything was wonderful, the staff were SO attentive, food lovely, castle beautiful, and their room amazing. Also did their Escape room which was described by my daughter as 'awesome' and so much fun. A very successful trip.
