Had to pay extra for using the spa facilities however we went down twice during our stay and you could have just walked straight in. Didn’t check if we had paid or not.

The hotel was beautiful, rooms lovely and clean! The swimming pool and spa facilities, steam room were very good and very relaxing! The food at the FYR restaurant on site was lovely and reasonably priced aswell. The only cons I would say is that the drinks at the bar and and the pool are very expensive, considering the amount you are spending on everything else, in my opinion they don’t need to be that expensive. Overall had a very relaxing weekend, and I would return.

We absolutely love this hotel, its so family friendly and has everything you need for a great holiday. My kids loved the pool, the breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. This is our second time visiting this hotel and we would go again. Great loacation with many great walk and sights nearby.

A very clean comfortable hotel with friendly staff.

Great location, just a short walk into town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and had a lovely ensuite. Only downside was a loose toilet seat and extremely small pillows. Nevertheless we would use this hotel again.

Fabulous upgrade to a newly decorated suite, thanks! Beautiful space and going to try and book to go again with my husband. Didn’t get time to use the facilities this time but there’s a charge to use unless you book direct. The allocation for the evening meal on the HB package is £35. You can pay extra if you so wish. We happened to be seated next to the grill area so got chatting with the cook there. I had the most amazing steak - perfectly seasoned with a sauce. He also advised on the type/size of steak options. Based on what we saw my friend had a burger. It was lush and my steak was certainly the nicest in a long time. Chips came with a herb on which detracted from the flavour and we both left a lot. Ordinary fries or plain chips would have been better. Great breakfast next day and decent sized beakers to get a drink from of machine. Lush hot choc! Two guys were on their phones at different tables discussing work matters close to me which detracts from a relaxing brekky. I was almost going to move as it went on maybe ten mins. Hospitality nationally needs to consider signs asking people to consider the impact of such calls on other diners. Selfish! The chap two tables up said he didn’t want something going in the press but he talked about it. Despite this, it’s my third stay at this hotel and can recommend. Easy for M6 proximity and half way stage for my friend and I to meet. We usually book a separate room too so we can sleep well which I did with hotels. Com.

Hotel was nice enough but could not believe they wanted to charge us £15 each to use swimming pool because we booked through yourselves

This hotel was ideal for my 2 night stay in Penrith. The room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and robes/slippers available for the pool and/or spa. Pool and gym opening hours were good and the gym is well equipped. Staff in all areas were helpful and friendly. The restaurant menu offered a varied selection and I ate there on both evenings. The atmosphere overall was relaxing. It was an ideal place to stay for my first visit to Penrith and I'd be happy to stay again.

Room was disappointing. Damaged bunkbed, TV and ripped wallpaper.

Nice faculties comfortable beds friendly staff. Spa often very busy

One-night stop in extended trip. Very convenient location (just off the M6). Minor confusion - hotel uses US floor numbering (ground floor is 0, not "Ground"). Had room service which was a bit expensive for what it was, but food OK. Breakfast good with plenty selection.

Facilities in room were great
