use the hotel for business trip to university of manchester. second time after the first use of the hotel in 2018. location of the hotel is good for uom visit. breakfast was not bad, typical english breakfast buffet. the hotel is old, room is very small. had some issues with hair drier but solved issues after couple of visits to the reception.

맨체스터 대학교 기숙사에 있는 가족을 만나러 와서 선택한 호텔입니다. 기숙사와 호텔이 바로 연결되어 있는 점이 제일 좋았고 위치적으로도 전철역이나 주요 시내볼거리, 쇼핑센터와도 가까워서 좋았습니다. 방과 화장실도 깔끔하고 전반적으로 관리를 잘하고 있는 호텔입니다. 단, 옆방의 말소리가 들리긴 해서 방음은 살짝 약한거 같습니다.

Nice hotel, good size classic double room, staff very friendly and informative, tea and coffee available in room with biscuits, good size desk for working on, wifi had good signal and easy to connect to, usb points in the room as well as by the bed, shower was powerful and hot, some small defects to the decor but nothing too bad, breakfast buffet was great, good selection of hot food and pastries with excellent coffee from new machine, local parking close by at NCP circle square. Nice touch to offer free coffee when leaving the hotel. The only issue was the noise from the outside which was quite loud through the night, maybe an upgrade to triple glazing would help.

A bit tired, the fan wasn’t great in the room, very functional

Hotel is a bit run down - rooms are small and in need of major renovation. The lady that does breakfast is super cool.

This was an adequate hotel, very small room, fine for one person as I was, terrible if you're a couple. No real place for luggage because I wasn't lifting it over the bed to get to the unit, so it sat tucked in between the bed and the wall. Rooms really need updated but were clean and fine for a place near the station and O2 Apollo stadium to lay your head. Would I stay again? Probably not. Breakfast was good. Despite advertising late night pizza, that was not a thing when I asked about food late in the evening. They do have a mini snack station to get crisps and sweets, so my dinner was a packet of crisps! Oh well. For what it was it was fine, but I would opt for the ibis round the corner given the choice. This hotel could be a wee gem but the small rooms, poor maintenance and dated decor let's it down. Staff were nice to their credit. There are no shops nearby that I saw on my walk to the stadium unless you head back up to the train station (5-10 minutes walk) but as I only stayed one night there may have been one I just had not discovered yet. Overall, average but did the job.

The room was clean, rest of hotel was not up to standard, corridors and front area unkempt and untidy. The area felt unlit and unsafe outside.

A disappointing experience overall. I had attended the hotel for a couple of days conferences previously which were good and so I thought I'd stay overnight to see what it was like. Positives - Food was average or ok, comfortable bed and generally clean housekeeping. Pendulum centrepiece is interesting from a historical perspective. Negatives - poor value for money, disorganisation of hotel, some of the staff were rude / unprofessional / inappropriate, flimsy shower rail in the bathroom, decor needs some care and attention. Room manager was helpful however and compensated me with a free lunch for issues with the check in and poor customer service while I was there. Unfortunately let down by the rest of the team. There are plenty of other much better hotels in Manchester and I will be avoiding this one in future.

Checked in online, but then had to complete the same process on arrival. Clean room, but shabby.

La camera piccola con tutto il necessario nel poco spazio, pulita. Ci sono molti parcheggi nelle vicinanze, c'è convenzione con uno vicino. Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.

The rooms are very small but the hotel and amenities are adequate. We encountered 2 members of staff and both were very kind and professional.

Great location

Lovely hotel to stay in. Reasonably priced & great offers (free drink & discount for next stay). Lovely design, clean room, nice breakfast & friendly helpful staff. Close to city centre and bus & tram centre to any other part of town. Train station to airport only 10 mins away. Would definitely stay there again.

We paid £160 for a night in a room that we would normally expect to pay around £80 for. The room was small, the bed very small, the decor tired with a view over a derelict car park and really noisy, we could clearly hear the guy in the next room cleaning his throat and then spitting, not really what you want to be woken to at 7am. The selection of tea and coffee was poor, again for this price we would expect more choice. On the plus side, the shower was nice and powerful with plenty of hot water but we were given only one set of towels between the 2 of us (they were nice thick towels)
