Hotel is having a refit of carpets on floor 1 & 2 and possibly some room refurbishment. Hotel looks tired Bar was not stocked or manned. Door to room had a 2 inch gap between floor and door cant see why as floor was level. No water pressure in the room you had to run around in the shower to get wet to fill a bath 20 mins. Breakfast standard nothing special. Considering it's a May Bank Holiday felt let down by the experience

Restaurant CLOSED Lift out of order Refurbishment going on and was not told of this before arrival. Bath water was orange/yellow.

Hotel was an absolute state. Dust and dirt everywhere, stains on the bedding and un cleaned rooms that had dead flies and bugs on the bed. Requested to move room as it was disgusting and was met with Daniel the receptionist who was very unpleasant to deal with and very rude and abrupt. On telling him you'd expect the rooms to be clean and tidy and i have a respiratory failure and this was going to cause problems with the amount of dust in the rooms, i was just glared at. On the other hand half of the hotel was under renovation and this was also causing noise and extra mess and having to climb over manky old bed frames and matresses to get through our door wasnt the break we expected. No email no apology no nothing. If i were you id find somewhere else to stay and avoid the hotel and the rude receptionist Daniel at all costs

Problems with first room were quickly dealt with and next room was good. Good value for money. Hot tub was not that hot.

Filthy rooms, damp windows riddled in mould. Emailed the manager was offered money of a return stay, have asked for a refund but he won’t reply now. No warning if a party which was extremely loud and coming through the floors, the receptionist was rude, yawning and disinterested. Tv controller had only one battery in it. Dirty walls.

When we stayed the hotel was in the process of having some much needed decorating. But when finished and new doors fitted this hotel will be a the great hotel im sure it wonce was

Perfect ,

The room was clean but the decor is very tired as is the bathroom. Also the floorboards creaked an awful lot. I understand the hotel is being renovated I just hope it extends to the minus one floor

It was ok nice friendly staff hotel was bit noisy with the doors slamming but other than that it was nice atmosphere

Room was clean and plenty of towels

Breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable and room was clean. Little outdated but undergoing an uplift. We enjoyed it and reception could not do enough for us

Staff were helpful and courteous

Staff very good, although beer was poorly poured, location is great, parking really should be cheaper, room was okay, although bed and pillows unbelievably uncomfortable Pool and hot tub was good also parts of plastic found in the pool, overall okay place to stay

Staff fine Room dusty due to renovation taking place We where in a room at the front downstairs which was very noisy it could do with better double glazing or at least secondary glazing as a minimum Would not recommend to friends

Look, tbf its somewhere to get your head down.The place is looking tired n bit run down but can say the same when you look around the area. Breakfast wasn't classy but Ok. Must say all staff were excellent. So, cheap n cheerful it was.
