Our stay was great, most of the staff where excellent but a couple let the overall service down

The resort was lovely but not enough buggy’s to help people like myself who struggles with arthritis or for others who may have disabilities and can’t walk up the steep hills . Also the staff on the majority were lovely but there were a few who could not be bothered. And the hotel is lovely but attention to details like dead orchids in the common areas let the 5 * rating down With all of the above said I would still recommend the resort because me and my family had a lovely time

We booked two one-bedroom bungalows with private pools (rooms 500 and 503) for a family celebration. Sadly, room 500 was a huge disappointment — the pool was so small it was unusable, and it was filthy on arrival. Within the first hour of check-in I was chasing reception, calling maintenance (who left muddy footprints in the room), and writing emails instead of relaxing. We never once used the pool, despite paying a premium for it. Communication from the front office was poor, with no follow-up from the manager despite repeated complaints. While a few gestures were eventually offered (dinner, massage, transfer), they did not make up for the fact that we paid for a service we couldn’t use. That said, some staff were outstanding: Niki at Kuzina (breakfast), Mo at the main pool, Ionna at Guest Relations, Mark at the water park, and Alexander, who finally helped resolve part of the issue. Their excellent service was the highlight of our stay. Overall, it’s a real shame, great staff in some areas, but a very disappointing experience with the accommodation and management response.

I have never written a hotel review before, however I feel compelled to write after my disappointing experience at MarBella. On our last night my family of 6 were moved into two rooms directly under the main restaurant. We heard scratching and scraping every time a guest moved their chair and especially when tables where moved. This was constant during restaurant open hours and cleaning afterwards which was 6-10pm and again from 7-12am during breakfast. We informed reception immediately to which they said they are aware of the problem and apologize. Neither myself or my children are noise sensitive whatsoever, but this was unbearable. When I requested to speak with management the next morning I was shuffled between staff and finally got an email that they will not compensate me despite being aware of the problem (many others had complained) and admitting it was unacceptable and charging full high-season price. As a result of this utter disrespect and terrible customer service I will now list the other issues with the hotel: 1. Not up to standard of cleanliness for a 5 star resort 2. Waited for 10-25 minutes for a table for breakfast and dinner at main restaurant every day. Admittedly it was probably during the busy hours but regardless there should not be that type of line to a restaurant (it was the only dining option for over half of the nights) 3. Many guests smoking in children friendly areas 4. Beer tasted like 5. Coffee very weak and watered down 6. I was consisten

A fantastic family holiday. The staff and management were outstanding — always professional, kind, and attentive, which really made the experience special. Food was a highlight: the open buffet was impressive despite the crowds, and the à la carte restaurants added variety and quality. The sea is nice (though we’ve seen even better in the Aegean), but the service more than makes up for it. This is very much a family place rather than for couples seeking a romantic escape. For us, it was perfect, and we would happily return.

Das Hotel entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Im Zimmer gab es Probleme, die wir gemeldet haben, aber sie wurden nicht gelöst. Das Personal war unzufrieden und uninteressiert. Ein großes Problem im Hotel sind die vielen Wespen – überall. Zwei von uns wurden am Strand von Wespen gestochen. Die Essbereiche am Meer sind wegen der Wespen geschlossen. Wir konnten weder das Hotel noch den Strandurlaub genießen.

Lovely hotel and great facilities. Staff super helpful and friendly. Dining options and food ok.

Fantastic family friendly hotel. Not too “kids orientated” - great balance! Various pools to choose from. Non motorised water sports complimentary every day for 30 mins. Various options for dietary requirements. If you visit the Asian restaurant is a must!

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel fait le maximum pour satisfaire les clients, de nombreux services sont proposés : sorties en mer notamment.

The hotel complex is built into a hill overlooking the sea so there are beautiful views from almost everywhere. All people working at the hotel are friendly, polite and extremely helpful. All facilities are well looked after and very clean. We loved our sunset cruise one evening and the water sports and air conditioned gym. All in all, it was great stay.

Beautiful grounds clean rooms seem to have been renovated recently . Very polite attentive staff delicious food . Lots of activities for kids and adults . Could not fault this hotel .

Buffet war so mittel, sonst aber gut!

Excellent food, service, location. I have no comments to be honest, I can say just everything was amazing. The staff are very friendly.

Das Hotel ist generell recht schön gestaltet. Sauberkeit ist gut, lediglich von dem Kinderpool ist definitiv abzuraten. Dieser war zu unserer Zeit milchig weiß und somit für uns ein no-go. Manche Urlauber nehmen auch Eis und Getränke mit in den Pool, evtl. lag es daran. Was uns sehr gestört hat ist die Unfreundlichkeit der meisten Angestellten. Unserem Wunsch draußen zu sitzen wurde oftmals als "nicht möglich" geantwortet, erst auf Nachfrage warum war es dann doch okay. Die Teller werden nicht abgeräumt, sodass wir diese oft selber weggebracht haben um für den nächsten Gang Platz zu haben. Mein Sohn hat auch einmal im Kozina ein Getränk verschüttet, hier waren 3 (!) Kellner in umittelbarer Nähe und haben es gekonnt ignoriert, sodass wir uns von Ihrem Servicepult selbst bedient haben, um Tisch und Boden zu säubern. Hervorzuheben ist jedoch der Strandservice per App, hier kommt die Bestellung wirklich prompt. Das Essen war in Ordnung, ebenso die Speisenauswahl. Für kulinarische Höhenflüge war nichts geboten. Außerdem vermisse ich seit unserem Aufenthalt dort etwas und hatte per E-Mail und telefonisch nachgefragt, ob es dort noch ist - hier leider komplett ohne Reaktion/Antwort. Das alles ist für mich keine 5 Sterne und auch das Geld nicht wert! Alles in allem haben wir uns dennoch einen schönen Urlaub gemacht, würden aber aufgrund des fast ausschließlich schlechten Service definitiv nicht mehr in dieses Hotel fahren.

MarBella is a high quality hotel, with extensive facilities, all-inclusive board and a range of dining options. Staff were all both professional as well as warm and friendly helping make the stay even more enjoyable. A choice of pool or beach for lazy days and a range of restaurants make for a nice choice of meals. Since I last visited, the hotel has migrated to an all-inclusive offer, which contained a wide range of drink options to select from. On this visit, there was a very high proportion of families with pre-school children (which made some meals noisy), but overall an excellent hotel and I would love to return in future.

Overall okay. A little overcrowded, the food quality is good however it could be difficult to eat anywhere other than a large crowded buffet. Some staff tend to have difficulties in meeting customers requests.
