Merci au Personnel pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. La chambre était bien et très propre. Seul bémol, le "restaurant" qui ne servait que des plats réchauffés au micro-ondes... Peut-être parce que nous étions hors saison. Dans ce cas, il vaudrait mieux le fermer.

Had a great time in Venice and enjoyed our stay at Colombina Hotel! The staff was amazing - friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room was very nice, with a view overlooking the canal, and a very nice renovated bathroom (the bedroom furnishings are pretty dated, though). Wish I could rate this 4.5 stars rather than 4 - the only real downsides that we experienced during our stay were room temperature being quite warm (cold air didn't seem to ever flow in, only heat), and the terrible persistent mosquitos which prevented us from opening the windows for the cool air. One of the two windows had a screen on it, but it did not cover the entire window so the mosquitos always found a way in, and boy are they thirsty! We woke up to multiple new bites each day. Breakfast was pretty basic yet reliable, it included bacon, eggs, pastries, and simple beverages - no complaints there. The turnover staff was also great! Very nice location - about a 30 minute walk to the train station. We opted for the private water taxi to take us to/from the hotel - it is very expensive but worth it for the experience and overall ease (hop on, enjoy, hop off) over the packed and slow public boats.

Great hotel. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Location is great in nice quite spot away from crowds but located close enough to major spots like St Marks (2) min walk and Rialto bridge maybe 10 minutes. The staff is absolutely amazing so kind and friendly from front desk to bar tenders to bell man and breakfast service they are truly wonderful.

There are no smoke alarms in both the rooms or stair well, no fire extinguishers or blankets, no fire signs, no fire exit in this 2 bedroom room. It is not really any part of the hotel as is down the alley and you do not go in to the hotel at all. This room is not in the hotel and we are not sure why this is advertised as part of the hotel albeit an annexe. Our room was pretty but not serviced once, was incredibly loud and we all woke every morning with bites all over us. My sons cot bed mattress was orange and stained and he woke with bites all over him including his lip which was very sore. We are all covered in bites which only happened when in contact with the beds as there were no flys in October. We were unable to find another accommodation option while out there to move to which woupd be affordable on topof what we have paid as there was a marathon on so was very full. Venice itself is incredible, this accommodation is not. Expedia, where is your accountability with this? You are selling this accommodate without clearly inspecting it first. With young children staying in accommodation with no fire precautions on the 2nd floor is totally unacceptable 😑 if there was a fire we would not be able to escape in anyway, especially with wooden beamed ceilings.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Located in a great spot, close to all the major sights. The building opposite is under going renovation but there was very little noise, just one small hiccup of a power cut during one breakfast but staff were straight out with lighting so everyone could see. Definitely recommended

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Located in a great spot, close to all the major sights. The building opposite is under going renovation but there was very little noise, just one small hiccup of a power cut during one breakfast but staff were straight out with lighting so everyone could see. Definitely recommended
