Our stay at the Shangri-La Tokyo was absolutely exceptional and truly set the standard for luxury hospitality. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel welcome and cared for, and the level of service was simply incredible.
A very special thank you to Manisha Khatr, who went far above and beyond during our stay. At one point she even personally walked us to the train station to make sure we got there easily. That level of kindness and attentiveness made a lasting impression on us.
We also want to recognize Sanjeev, the breakfast and lunch manager, who ran the morning service with such warmth and professionalism. Breakfast each day was a highlight — the food was fantastic and the service was seamless. Sanjeev made guests feel genuinely welcome and ensured everything ran perfectly.
Another standout was Karen on the Horizon Level, who was wonderful throughout our stay. She made the lounge experience feel personal and welcoming, and her attentiveness really elevated the entire experience.
The rooms are fabulous — spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail feels thoughtful and luxurious.
What impressed us most was how the team genuinely cared about guests’ wellbeing. I had injured my knee during our trip, and without hesitation the staff brought large ice packs to our room at night to help. It was such a thoughtful gesture and just one example of how they went out of their way to help with anything we needed.
