하얏트 리젠시 콴탄 리조트

가성비 최악이다. 연휴때 방문하여 RM 1300 PER NIGHT정도를 냈는데.. 싱글침대 2개에 클럽룸... 클럽룸이 더 비싼데 일반룸대비 뭐가 그렇게 나은지 모르겠다. 전체적으로 낡았다. 객실 부대시설 주변환경 모두 별로다. 쿠안탄 자체가 큰 매력이 없는 해변이다. 조식도 그냥저냠. 호텔내 이태리식당은 맛있었다. RM 500 PER NIGHT 정도면 갈만한 수준.

편안한 휴식

I was staying in the room which has a sea-view. When I go out, I opened the door in the room, however there was a big problem due to opening the door. The humidity is extremely high in this area, so my room was wet from a floor to the ceiling. So, I requested to change the room and they treated as fast as they can, and I got the room on the ground floor which also has a sea-view. Almost everything I enjoyed in this resort was perfect and I loved it, so I will re-visit this resort within this year.

좋았습니다. 다만 코로나때문에 수영장 이용못해서 아쉬었네요

룸상태나 청결도 등은 만족스러우나 식당 (이탈리안, 부페식당)의 메뉴나 음식은 개선이 필요

This place is quite comfy and feel I was being served. Staff are kind and hotel facilities are excellent.

객실과 관련된 부분은 아주 좋았습니다. 당연히 재방문 의사있습니다. 거의 전용해변으로 이용할 수 있고, 직원들도 굉장히 친절합니다. 다만, 다른 후기에도 남겼습니다만, 이탈리안 비스트로는 정말 비추입니다. 서비스도 엉망이고 맛도 최악이었습니다.

This is the second visit with the parents from Korea. Everything was perfect before going in the Italian bistro. For celebrating my daughter's birthday, we visited the Italian bistro and ordered a bottle of wine - muscato d'asti and an appetizer and 2 pastas and one seafood dish and one risotto. The staff were looking for the wine for quite some time but it was not available. They probably do not check the inventory before. I tried to understand. After that 2 pastas came out, not an appetizer. Those were really salty and the worst pasta I have ever had but we did not complain about that. My daughter needs more water and I ordered. Never came out. I asked 3 times but they ignored it. Until finishing pasta and seafood dish, the risotto was not served. I got really disappointed. This hotel got 5 stars. The price is high enough, but their service was not good enough, actually disaster. Our dinner was ruined. I will visit the hotel again, but definitely not the restaurant.

KL에서 랑카위와 같은 바다 리조트를 비행기나 배를 타지않고 갈수 있는 가장 가깝고, 저렴한 숙박시설입니다. 5박을 머물렀는데, 6살 남자아이와 와이프가 지루하지 않고, KL에서 하지 못하던, 매일 바닷가에서 모래놀이를 하고 수영장에서 물놀이를 하였습니다. 수영장은 2곳인데, 깊이가 깊어서(1.7~2m) 수영을 못하는 분들은 조심을 요합니다. 주변에 Starbuks, 맥도널드, KFC 등 다양한 식당가가 걸어서 이동할수 있으며, 리조트 Ground Floor에 있는 로컬 레스토랑은 맛도 있고, 가격도 저렴한 편입니다. 가격대비, 최상의 리조트입니다.

쿠안탄에서 유일한 비치에 접한 호텔인 것 같아요. 레노베이션을 마쳐서 깨끗하고 쾌적했습니다. 식사의 종류가 한정적이라 2박동안 좀 힘들었지만, 조식은 좋았습니다.

친절 좋은장소 하지만 방이 너무 습하고 불편함

햐얏트 주변에 현지음식점 외에도 버거킹 맥도날드가 바로 걸어갈 수 있는 거리에 가까이 있어 가볍게 머무르기 매우 좋습니다. 저는 하얏트 리젠시에서 1박을 하고 클럽메드로 옮겼습니다. 콴탄 공항 밤 늦게 한시간 걸려 클럽메드로 이동하고 늦은 체크인인데도 숙박료를 다 내는 것이 비효율적이라 생각되어 공항에서 30분정도 거리인 하얏트에서 하루 묵고 다음날 이동하였는데 너무 잘 선택했다는 생각이 듭니다.

호텔 객실은 시뷰로했는데 생각보다 너무 작고 낡았음. 하야트 명성에 뒤떨어짐. 보수가 필요함. 호텔내의 음식도 무지 비쌈. 그렇지만 호텔 앞에 전망 좋은 식당들이 많이있음. 호텔 수영장은 바다를 바로 끼고 있으며 이 호텔의 유일한 장점. 이점땜에 다른 단점이 다 보완이됨. 담에 다시 놀러갈 의향있음.

Pristine, powdery white sand just steps from our room. The resort provided plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas, so we never had to fight for a spot. Our recent stay here was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped here, we were met with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for the entire vacation.

The property is very nice and we enjoyed it. However, the parking situation was not pleasant. We were instructed to use the Touch N Go card. We made a mistake of scanning the card after we exited the parking lot not before we exited the parking lot. We didn't realized we made the error on the day we checked out. The staff told us that there is no way to redeem the error. This is just bad business practice. It is not the extra monies that bothered us. It is the principal. We made a honest mistake. We find it unacceptable that the error was not redeemable at all. Given that the Hyatt brand is a global brand and we've stayed at many Hyatt's, the inflexibility put a sour taste to our trip. The second experience that we did not like was the payment for the breakfast. We were explained that the breakfast costs more if we were to pay at the restaurant counter as opposed to paying it at the reception area. We were not informed that there is not an option to pay at the reception the next day if we decide to eat at the hotel for breakfast. The only option available was to pay at the hotel restaurant. As a result, we ended up paying an additional $13 ringgit per person. Again, this is not about the additional $13 ringgit since this is not a lot when we convert into our home country currency. It is the lack of information. During our trip, we've stayed at Le Meridien and Angsana. We didn't have issues with these two hotels. Both are of the same level as the Hyatt.

Overall, it was a good stay. Staff were nice and polite, however there were some issues like beds were too small, Areas around the pool was not well maintained. Hotel was listed as 5 stars, but I would say 4

Some cable carabiners were too small and corroded, which felt unsafe when using heavier weights. The carpet was also extremely dirty and heavily stained. The rooms were decent overall, although there was a minor water leak from the ceiling. Despite this, I extended my stay as I really enjoyed the sea view room, although it required an additional upgrade fee. On the positive side, the facilities were good. The swimming pools were clean and inviting, and the hotel grounds were well maintained with plenty of areas to relax. The staff were excellent—polite, helpful, and welcoming throughout. There are also many nearby restaurants, shops, and street food options. The beach stretched for around 800 metres, with a rocky section at one end. A bridge led to another area, but it was closed due to aggressive monkeys in the area. Getting around was easy using local taxis via the Grab app, with the nearest town about 10–12 minutes away. There’s plenty to see there, including an art street and modern shopping malls. The total cost was around £120 per night including the upgrade. While slightly high, it felt reasonable for the view, though the gym was disappointing. Overall, it’s still the best hotel in the area, and I would stay again.
