The restaurant service was not good

les transat de la piscine sont tous cassés et vieux. indigne pour ce type d'hôtel ! heureusement le personnel est compétent et aimable

Très bien situé, proche commerces Hotel confortable, personnel souriant et très serviable.

A free water taxi takes you to an outdoor shopping mall with some premium stores as well as local crafts. Several restaurants and more touristy souvenir shops as well. Did not try the light rail station nearby. A nice hotel away from the noise and bustle of the city yet close enough to walk to most attractions.

Gorgeous hotel beautifully situated in the Marina within 5min walk to beautiful shops and cafes. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is great but could do with more Vegetarian options. Only one problem for me - NO LIFT but lots of Stairs.

Roons are very clean. If any little thing is wrong it is corrected straight away by housekeeping. Staff in the restaurant are welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Excellent spa, great masseurs Neehar and others. The hotel could think about updating showers and some towels are no longer brilliant white, bit grey, but very clean. The water taxi was not available one day as it was being serviced there is a bridge open in the day by the aquarium.

Lovely hotel, quite centtalky located near the pier and Port Louis. Plenty of food options and shopping area near it. The hotel it self was very clean too and a good breakfast spread!

Ants in the property. Despite having a ktchen couldnt leave anything downstairs as ants would circulate. Downstairs toilet ants coming out of the sink. Staff said it is normal as rats are also common despite the price you pay. As if you should just deal with it since they already got your money. Problem with ants was told they will sort it out. Then left the ant spray for me to deal with. Didn't book a holiday to be an exterminator. Ridiculous. Manager had an attitude as well thought i couldn't understand creole then tried to act "nice" in my face. Two faced fake. Blocked sink. Manager had a huff and puff but, eventually was sorted. Water taxi stops inconvenient times. Works until mid afternoon then put a sign up for the rest of the day. Yoy only know if it works or not if you exit the main entrance everyday to get a taxi. They mention to use a bridge but has restricted hours. Otherwise if you go out at night you walk along a dark private road around 20mins from caudan waterfront which is unsafe due to no lighting or people nearby. They act nice once they have your money but, when a problem occurs they get in a strop giving attitiude. I wouldnt recommend this hotel too many inconveniences for the price you pay. Looks nice but, just a hassle not worth it.

One night stay for business. Room’s got the damp coastal smell to them (I guess the carpets never really get dry). Bathrooms are tired and could do with a modernization. Location convenient if got meetings in CBD. Very peaceful considering in middle of the city.

The location is safe and private. To reach the central shopping district, there is a convenient water taxi that transports passengers from the hotel to the waterfront. From the waterfront, you can walk to the busy city center and explore.

The Hotel was not busy , yet it was always difficult getting served. The hotel hosted a Private function on our second night that took up the entire wharf area. We were able to sit in the area. There wasn’t any restaurant service that evening. We had to leave the hotel for diner. The music was very loud and continued well past 2am. The hotel did leave a notice in our room the morning of apologizing in advance for the anticipated loud music.This event was not a last minute event. We should have been notified prior to our stay allowing us to make changes .

The service in all areas were very slow & inconsiderate. Place was lovely, clean and safe. A lot of staff doing very little and chatting instead of serving drinks & food when needed. Very expensive for service you could not get.

Didn't dtay at the Suffern they Upgraded us to the sister hotel club room suite Laboudonnais which was fantastic

Room service never delivered and no response from management when this was brought to their attention that evening. No elevators, but staff willing to carry bags. Nor.ally it is probably quiet, but late music on lunar new year

La habitación muy cómoda, pero tenía algún mobiliario viejo y en mal estado (la silla del escritorio). El bote taxi estaba fuera de servicio. El restaurante solo tenía buffet, no se podía pedir a la carta (tanto la cena como el desayuno), nadie te ayudaba a acomodarte, la reposición de la comida en el buffet era muy lenta, quedando fuentes vacías por mucho tiempo. En el desayuno se acabó el agua y el jugo y nunca pude conseguirlos. Tuve que pedir servilletas y me las trajeron cuando di ya había terminado de desayunar. Quizás tienen menos personal que el requerido. En resumen es un hotel que pretende ofrecer mucho, pero simplemente cumple con los mínimos requeridos.

My husband entered the bathroom of our room and he handle fell off , trapping him in the bathroom I had to call twice before someone came .This was fixed by 5:25.At7 on our way to dinner I stopped by the desk to express surprise that no one had checked on us, said they were sorry, and was told they meant too but were very busy we were given a transfer to the ship( which was not better than waiting for the free bus, and I drink which I declined. The individual servers were nice but napkins were hard to find, coffee at breakfast a rare commodity. Yes they were extremely busy with cruise ships debarking and embarking , but this wasn't a surprise. Close to the port and harborside center but if I am sure here are other hotels
