Tres bel etablissement, calme, paisible. Personnel attentionne, prévenant. Prestations de qualite. Tres bon rapport qualite/prix pour un séjour en suite avec vue mer. Reco prendre la demie pension et louer un vehicule l'etablissement est assez isolé. Spa soins superbes. 🙏

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt am Strand. Der Ausblick war super. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und nett. Im Hotel war auch nie so viel los.

The property is gorgeous. The food was good. The front desk staff was very helpful. I stayed for a night in the junior suite it was nice.

Staff was useless. Both restaurents staff were utterly useless. Even Management wasn't good. I got refused the basic necessity, WATER by the management at the buffet. The cleaning lady for my room was the best.

Service excellent, staff very attentive in all departments. The hot water toon atleast 20mins. The jet bath needs to be maintained better. Paint coming iff and doesn’t look inviting. Beds could be newer. The rum bar was never open, no staff ever there no matter when we went. It should be a more vibey cocktail place. Should have outdoor seating dor the main buffet not just indoor.

Hôtel très bien situé en bord de mer. Vue magnifique depuis la chambre. Très grand lit confortable. Par contre, les consommations et les repas sont un peu chers par rapport à ce qui est proposé.

Leider ist die Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen sehr gut.

Not what i would expect from a 4* hotel and could benefit from a deep clean. The Cinnamone buffet menu not to my liking as i like to cook from fresh and some dishes too salty and all meats and fish cooked in a 'sauce' of some description. There is a bbq hotplate and usually two protein items available in the evening can be cooked fresh if you prefer. You have to book the a-la-carte Pomelo resteraunt which has covers for 40-50 persons and only open in the evenings. All staff friendly and helpful. We hired a car for the week to explore different parts of the island and personally found the south eastern side traditionally more like a tropical island. One tip, if you do venture away from the resort take your own toilet roll because if you ever need to visit public toilets all you will have is a tap or jet of water for use in the cubicle...... The island is being spoilt with flytipping, litter and plastic pollution and i wouldnt like to think what sea pollution the coral reef is keeping back from landing on the beaches.

Déception totale : Un "All-Inclusive" qui n’en a que le nom ​Client habitué aux standards du Riu Palace, le choc a été brutal. À prix équivalent, nous sommes ici sur une prestation bas de gamme qui nécessite une rénovation urgente. ​Les points noirs de mon séjour : ​La Chambre : Un style "épuré" qui frise le vide. Le téléviseur est minuscule par rapport à la taille de la pièce, avec une qualité de réception d'un autre âge. Quant aux sols (voir photos), l'état de vétusté est flagrant. ​Le "Faux" Tout Inclus : Arrivée avec deux petites bouteilles d'eau tièdes dans un frigo réglé au minimum. Il faut réclamer et se justifier pour obtenir des sodas ou des bières en chambre, alors qu'ils sont inclus au bar. Cerise sur le gâteau : on vous offre deux capsules de café, les suivantes sont payantes. Incompréhensible pour cette catégorie d'hôtel. ​Restauration et Bar : Les cocktails et boissons sont préparés sans aucun savoir-faire, le goût n'est tout simplement pas au rendez-vous. Pour obtenir un café correct, préparez-vous à faire 500 mètres à pied jusqu'au bar. ​Entretien : L'hôtel vieillit mal. Les photos parlent d'elles-mêmes, notamment concernant l'état des sols et des finitions. ​Bilan : Si vous espérez le standing d'un Riu Palace, passez votre chemin. Le Solana est loin, très loin du compte en termes de service et de confort. Une expérience "jour et nuit" que je ne renouvellerai pas.

The rooms are big and clean, with a good view of the sea. There is a sofa to put large luggage. There is a balcony. Except slipper robe and body gel, there are no other amenities in the bathroom (ie dental kit or razor). Tv set is very little. My room was too near the bar and there are loudly shows from 9;00 PM till 11:00 PM. In the half-board package you have the choice of a buffet restaurant and a la carte restaurant, but you have to book it 24 hours before, and you do not have free dessert. As the other Mauritian hotels, there is no free still water for dinner. There is not enough parking for all the residents who comes with their cars. All hotel staff were polite and helpfull.

Great stay, friendly staff. Traveling solo makes you appreciate connection, and that’s what I felt with the staff here. Good food, even as a vegetarian I had plenty to choose from. Also, the hotel is not huge which I also appreciate. Small enough to make the stay personal and easy to find your way around. Highly recommend!

I won't be going there again. The room was dated. Most things were fixed properly in the room such as the electric sockets were loose, the handle on cupboard was loose, the hook for hanging it robes and towel only had one screw instead of 2. The shower hose was fixed and not movable and water was splashing out as there was no door and the screen was very narrow. The beach was rocky. Breakfast was just okay. We ate out most of the time. The staff wasn't very friendly either.

Thank you to the entire team at Solana Beach for making our family’s first visit to Mauritius a memorable one with wonderful hospitality. We travel often and the one thing that always stands out is how the people treat treat us during our visit and in Mauritius everyone did an amazing job of looking after us. Some names to highlight for going the extra mile include Premilah from housekeeping, Valerie in the Cocobar, Domenic in the main restaurant, Ashi in reception, Gregory and Ricardo in the water sports area……plus there were many others. Also a thank you to Paz the F&B manager for taking the time to ask for our feedback and input. I would highly recommend Solana Beach to my friends and family and thank you again to the entire team for a holiday of a lifetime.

Alles bestens, schönes Zimmer, gutes Essen. Personal bemüht und nett. Leider ist der Strand mit vielen Korallen übersät, sodass es ohne Schuhe schlecht zu laufen ist.

Our stay was not good at all

The hotel was overall disappointing. The cleanliness was acceptable, but unfortunately the food quality and service were below average. The staff did not seem very attentive and the overall experience did not meet our expectations. Although the hotel is located right next to the beach, the sea is very rocky and not suitable for comfortable swimming. This is an important detail that should be considered before booking. Sadly, we would not choose this hotel again.
