En cuanto al estacionamiento, el espacio es pequeño, por lo que puede ser complicado estacionarse, sobre todo con camioneta. En cuanto a lo demás, todo perfecto, buena ubicación, playa limpia, atención buena por parte del personal y habitación limpia. Siempre buena comunicación con los huéspedes para verificar que todo está en orden.

It was a terrible experience. The room was terrible. The gas pilots on the stove were open . I noticed it and reported. Thank God I smelled the gas. The propane tank was leaking gas and I told them to remove it.

El lugar está muy bien es tal cual las imágenes la zona de playa es de las más cuidadas y mejor zona para bañarse tienen servicio a la playa y las habitaciones limpias y amplias el único tema fue con el restaurant nos enfermamos todos el día que comimos ahí.

El hotel está descuidado. El servicio es lo pero de todo, pero el tope es el servicio del restaurante, totalmente decepcionante

The room was run down and it was incredibly loud at night to the point that we couldn’t sleep because of drunk people yelling all night and motorbikes zipping down the street. But what really made us mad was the false advertising of the “daybeds” (lounge chairs” being reserved for hotel guests. They were absolutely NOT. We had to argue to get 2 chairs (they said no more were available and that had to wait for the cruise ship tourists us to leave to get some). Meanwhile, there was a whole stack of chairs available, they just didn’t want to set them up for us. We had to argue with them to get them and finally they gave us 2 half busted chairs. We would never return to this place or to Mahahual in general. We only went there for diving and found that the whole town is a total trash filled, overpriced bust. There are a million better places in Mexico, avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being ripped off and surrounded by a bunch of uncultured cruisers.

The view was nice. The room clean. The bathroom was not the best. Limited hot water and odd setup. The toilet getst wet every time you shower because it’s just open. Also it says there are laundry facilities but there are none. You have to walk a few blocks to a service that will wash for you and give it back to you in the afternoon. Staff was nice.

Es un hotel ya con años, pero lo mantienen limpio, muy organizado, servicio de parking, restaurante y área de playa. Reservamos una habitación con vista al mar, y han sido de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido. Se disfruta más que al 100%. Lamentablemente la playa y el mar descuidados..mucha basura adentro y afuera y los locales con 0 interés de cuidado. Necesitan mejorar esa parte o Mahahual perdera el interes turístico. Me sorprende que aunque llegan Cruceros mantienen la calle sucia.

Todo estuvo muy bien , su ubicación es muy cerca de la playa y de lugares para comer y comprar cosas que puedas necesitar . El personal es súper amable y atentos a lo que necesites . Muy recomendable .

Great staff, great place

La comida del Restaurante del Hotel fue bastante buena

Muy buena opción para hospedarse, excelente atención del personal de recepción, hay pocos cajones de estacionamiento pero el acceso a la playa y las vistas son espectaculares, recomiendo hospedarse aquí.

The staff at El Fuerte were definitely a highlight — very helpful, kind, and supportive throughout our stay. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they were clean and perfectly fine for what you’d expect at this level. There was a slight humid, musty smell at first, but it went away quickly once the AC was running. Overall, I’d rate it about 2.5 stars. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and pleasant — and I’d stay here again.

It can use a little upgrade, for the price was very good. The service was very good and food excellent .

La Tranquilidad

Me gustó todo. El servicio fue excelente. En recepción del hotel y del restaurante fue super excelente. La comida excelente la pasta al Fredo.

Buena ubicación, buen restaurante y buenas instalaciones a buen precio… lo recomiendo

El hotel está frente a la playa, la cual está espectacular. El costo es un poco alto para las instalaciones que cuenta, ya que le hace falta Mantenimiento, sus blancos son viejos. La atención del personal que labora ahí es excelente, es lo que salva al hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the entire experience. The photos online are extremely misleading and do not represent the actual state of the property. We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a three-star, but I can assure you, it couldn’t be further from the truth. To start with, nothing worked in our room. The TV was completely useless, and the internet was nonexistent. We reached out for assistance multiple times, but despite our efforts, no one was available to help us. It was incredibly frustrating to be ignored, especially when you're paying for a service that is clearly not being delivered. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. There are plenty of other options out there—do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one.
