Kamer was schoon, zelf uitchecken lukte niet werd echter telefonisch snel opgelost. Parkeren bij het hotel was handig, dit kost 25 Euro voor de dag van aankomst PLUS de dag van vertrek (kun je nog de hele dag in Leiden verblijven.

Het ontb ijs was goed, personeel van hotel Vic was niet aanwezig. moest je bellen. het inchecken was verschrikkelijk bij zo'n automaat!

Schöne zentrale Lage, direkt am Hauptbahnhof, kurze Wege ins Zentrum. Top Dusche mit tollem Wasserdruck. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Digitale Türöffner funktionieren tip top. Eigenes digitales Einchecken etwas schwierig. Das Waschbecken vor dem Bett sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Na ja, ein geschlossener Kleiderschrank ist uns eigentlich lieber als die offenen Ablagemöglichkeiten auf unserem Zimmer. Das Parken hat mit 25 € die Nacht einen stolzen Preis.

My absolute favorite hotel in Leiden. I am always so impressed with it that I have returned time and again. Right near the train, so close and walkable to all of the things that Leiden offers. Perfect location and place to stay when in the Netherlands.

Check in und out war am Terminal nicht möglich. Kein Personal vor Ort, erst durch Anruf kam jemand. Parkgebühr zahlen ja, aber kaum ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Extremely convenient, but a short walk from Leiden Centraal station, just watch out for the bicycles. The path to the rooms feels early bordello: thick purple carpet with pink lighting and deep blue walls. That said, my room was large, clean and modern. While the deep blue walls were not what I would pick, the separate toilet was tastefully finished, the shower bigger than most with new rain shower and shower head. The in-room sink, again not what I would have picked was a quality install with a well illuminated shaving mirror. The rest of the room was large and clean with high ceilings. The large windows were well insulted from road noise; important because the hotel is at the intersection of two busy roads. I experienced two issues: - the Keurig coffee maker was broken and unable to brew the coffee pods. - the soap dispenser in the shower was completely empty. I menitioned this when checking out. The person on duty said I should have contacted the front desk. No, when one is in the shower and soaking and reaches for the soap dispenser only to find it is empty one is not going to contact the front desk. Despite these issues which could easily be addressed from a proper operations management protocol, This was the best hotel I have stayed in the Netherlands and I gave it 5 stars. I would not look for another option if I return to Leiden.

Super comfy bed — especially for the price! — and cute decor. Staff were lovely when they were around. Check-in is via screen in the lobby and staff are available only by phone after normal business hours. There’s a little convenience store with some essentials but they were out of toothbrushes and toothpaste. My group booked 2 rooms. Both were clean but one didn’t have a bolt on the door (literally just a hole in the side of the door where the bolt should be). In that same room, the coffee machine didn’t work and a lamp was broken. Not sure why they put guests in there when so many things don’t work! Perhaps they would have moved us if we’d figured it out earlier, but it was quite late by the time we got back to the hotel and figured all of this out so we just went to sleep. Still, I slept well because the bed was comfy and the room was very dark and cool. Overall I’d stay again, but would check all the essentials before going out for dinner!

I have never left a hotel review, but I wish someone had told me what to expect with this hotel. First, there is no one to check you in; you use a touch screen and have to fill out information you already provided during the reservation process. I also had to call them for a booking number, because it didn't match the one from hotels.com. The inside is cheap, sparse (not in a good way) and my room was dusty. The check-out for the self-service market for water, etc. was broken the whole time we stayed there and they wouldn't allow you to charge to your room. The elevator went out the morning we left, and we had to carry our very heavy gear down multiple flights of stairs. Basically, if this is a cheap option for you, great, but you will have no help during your stay, other than someone on the phone telling you they can't help. Right next door is a much nicer hotel for not that much more.

Clean room, quiet atmosphere with close access to the train station. Great shower!

There is no staff to speak of. Fortunately from prior reviews I knew that the virtual check in system often does not recognize your confirmation number so I was prepared for that; because I was checking in near the first available time there actually was a staff person present to help. But when I needed something for my room, I had to send a message through Expedia to get a response. That said, the room was a nice size, the A/C worked well, the bed was comfortable and the location was terrific.

Very nice stay. Easy check-in through the self-service kiosk and a great location near the central part of Leiden and the train station.

Goed: vriendelijk personeel, ligging en kamer was schoon Airco stonk en daardoor met raam open moeten slapen, gevolg geen nachtrust door geluid van noodzakelijk open raam.

Op zich leuk en fancy maar de airco werkte niet waardoor je de nacht niet goed kon slappen. Het was best warm toen. Verder was de factuur over de betaalde city tax geweigerd die nodig voor die administratie van ons bedrijf was geweest. Dus, voor die kamer prijs zou ik die keuze niet nog eens maken.

Hotel is lovely. Rooms spacious, quiet with safe and fridge. Staff incredibly helpful especially with checkin (terminal in reception which we had to use didn’t accept any booking references we held and others struggled to check in electronically as well)

Room was spacious and very comfortable. A short walk from Leiden Centraal and close to town too. Staff were super helpful. Would absolutely stay again!
