This hotel was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the cleaness of room excellent, very spacious room and comfy. Kudos to the staff and their service!! Such a great experience and care.

Our stay at Charlie’s El Nido was absolutely perfect from start to finish. 🌴✨ The resort is modern, peaceful, and beautifully designed — everything feels fresh and well cared for. The pool was stunning and such a relaxing place to spend time, and our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. What really made the difference was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely thoughtful — they made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The service here truly goes above and beyond. The breakfast buffet and restaurant food were excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently delicious meals. We also appreciated the convenient shuttle service to town and Lio Beach, which made exploring easy while still being able to return to the quiet comfort of the resort. This was one of the best resort experiences we’ve had in the Philippines. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in El Nido with top-notch service, modern facilities, and a tranquil atmosphere, Charlie’s is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Staff friendly and the hotel is amazing

Family of 6. Stayed in April 2025. The resort was clean, modern, and ideal for families. We booked two family rooms with balconies overlooking the pool. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet had a good variety. We also had dinner at the restaurant, where staff kindly sang for a family member’s birthday. Food was delicious. The two pools were perfect, and rooms had air-conditioning. The balcony had a rack for drying swimsuits—very convenient. A couple of issues, though: 1. **Egg station at breakfast** needs improvement. The chef was by themself and confused, and orders were delayed and got mixed up. Guests were waiting too long or taking eggs that weren’t theirs because they did not want to wait any longer. Suggest assigning a second staff member to take and manage orders by table number. Our daughter didn’t even get her eggs until we were finished eating. 2. **Shuttle coordination for private tours** was disappointing. Our tour ended early, but there was no shuttle back. The front desk told us to wait an hour, pay for private shuttle, or pay for tricycles. We paid a premium for the private tour and expected better coordination. Staff insisted we use their shuttle but failed to provide return service without extra cost. It felt disorganized and unprofessional. We had a rental car and we could’ve just used our own car if we knew this would happen. Despite these issues, the resort was still a pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

Stay here was a bit disappointing for the price. Room view overlooked hallway, place was very noisy and power kept going out at dinner and no hot water in shower. Pluses - near airport and van/shuttle into town but recommend you look at other options. Wasn’t bad experience but for price we expected more.

I wouldn’t stay there again. I’m not sure why but there is a heavy odour that is coming from downstairs. We booked this hotel because it has a gym but we were unable to use it simply because the smell in that area was unbearable. The chocolate in the room fridge they placed for a fee is covered in mould, like it is sitting there for years. We also didn’t have a hot water on the first day. Neither we had a good experience at the restaurant, staff forgot about our order, we waited nearly an hour to eventually have grilled squid to arrive uncooked. Breakfast bar is decent, lots of choices. The location is near construction site but there was no noise. It is 6 mins away from Lio beach that is very beautiful and has lots of restaurants. The hotel offers free rides to the town and to the beach.

Checking in was pretty seamless. They have shuttle service to pick you up from the airport which was pretty nice. Lio airport is 5 mins of a driving distance from Charlie’s. One thing to note, the property is about a 30-min walk to the beach. It’s not conveniently located on the beach. You have to consider humidity also. I didn’t see a lot of tourists walk to the beach. Most people use e-bikes and/or a tricycle/tuctuc. Amenities: the photos show an option to get a private pool in your room but really all they have is a private access to the pool for some rooms. The rooms are spacious but the AC doesn’t cool it off on a hot day. Service: was outstanding. If anything about this place, their excellent service balances out the other things that can be better, such as the food. Breakfast Buffet: was okay. I think they recycle food at times. I would rate the breakfast buffet a 4/10 as compared to food in hotels in Manila. They do the best they can. I’m also not sure how fresh the food is because we both got diarrhea towards the last 2 days of our stay and kinda ruined the rest of our trip. Bar: they have a 10/10 frozen Calamansi Margarita by Reven the bar tender. Gym: there’s a gym with limited upper body equipment and free weights. There’s also a yoga room. Jay-R from the front desk was very helpful and always went above and beyond.

Friendly staff upon arrival, smooth check in, clean and comfortable facilities!

Staff were amazing, guys at the bar were fun and attentive, breakfast was great & they accommodated dietary restrictions, rooms were better than pictured. We will definitely be coming back. This place was way better than being in downtown el nido & offered a more resort-like experience. The shuttles are great and on-time.

I loved this property. The Charlie's Villa was a dream stay for our family! It was so spacious and had it's own private pool. The bartender was fabulous. Easy to get free transportation into town and Lio beach. It was 5 star.

Charlie’s El Nido was a beautiful resort to stay in El Nido, Palawan. The staff were very welcoming and helped with any questions about local areas to see and day to day support on the grounds. Very friendly and accommodating.
