We were looking for a place for a family of four - including two kids who were 11. So our options were limited, especially if we were looking for a hotel. This hotel had a suite with two rooms which was perfect for our family. The price was a bit steep, but given the time of the year (New Year’s Eve), we thought we would suck it up and take it. The suit was located on top of the hotel. There were many structural issues with it. First, the suit felt like an attic. There are no windows offering views of the city. There are just small windows near the top of the ceiling. So it’s dark most of the time, I can’t tell the weather, and I can’t look outside. I felt like I was in a prison! And the celing is slanted, and you often bump your head. Even my children kept bumping their heads! Also, the showers - the showerhead was too heavy, and it would not stay up! It was so frustrating. Also, there is this bump by the entrance of the hotel. When I was coming back from a quick trip to the near by store at night time, I completely forgot about its existence and I tripped and fell. I also witnessed other people tripping over it a few times. On positives - the staff at the reception was friendly and the housekeeping did a good job at keeping everything clean. I don’t have the experience of staying in other rooms, but I definitely not recommend the suite I stayed in, especially at the price I paid for.

This new hotel was perfect for everything, location, kind staff, beautiful and spacious room, valet parking! I would stay here again when I visit in Madrid.

The property is exceptionally well located and the rooms and common areas are very well kept. Staff is super friendly. Definitely coming back here in my next trip to Madrid

Great location between the Prado Museum and Plaza Mayor

We stayed in the hot tub room - expensive, but 100% worth it. Interior and exterior spaces (with hot tub) were just wonderful. Great location. Great service. 100% worth it. The only concern was that the manager tried to get us to pay again for our son - we had already paid for an extra guest through Expedia and he tried to get us to pay again. I had to show the Expedia receipt (lucky I had it). This part was disappointing and a let-down from an otherwise impeccable experience.

This is such a beautiful hotel, prime location, extraordinary staff and overall we had an exquisite experience. We arrived early and were able to check-in immediately. The food was excellent and the breakfast was the best we had in hotels. Highly recommended, and without any doubt, this will be our first choice again when we return to Madrid.

Great staff in all respects. Good was very good. Our room was wonderful other than the fan sounding like an airplane was landing, they are fixing it. A quiet room overlooking the inner court yard, quiet and lovely. Will definitely plan on staying there again when in Madrid.

Great location for visiting the major museums and El Rastro, and lots of dining options plus the beautiful parks and botanic garden. Not too far from the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and nightly turn down service with fresh water and chocolates and on occasion a fruit platter. Also a bottle of cava!! The room and bathroom were beautiful and large. The lobby area was under renovation so there was not really a place to hang out. The temperature in the room could not be adjusted so we were uncomfortable as we were too warm. We were able to open the windows to let in cool air BUT there was a constant loud motor/ generator noise which made it impossible to keep the windows open. So we were not able to sleep or relax very well in our room.
