We were looking for a place for a family of four - including two kids who were 11. So our options were limited, especially if we were looking for a hotel. This hotel had a suite with two rooms which was perfect for our family. The price was a bit steep, but given the time of the year (New Year’s Eve), we thought we would suck it up and take it. The suit was located on top of the hotel. There were many structural issues with it. First, the suit felt like an attic. There are no windows offering views of the city. There are just small windows near the top of the ceiling. So it’s dark most of the time, I can’t tell the weather, and I can’t look outside. I felt like I was in a prison! And the celing is slanted, and you often bump your head. Even my children kept bumping their heads! Also, the showers - the showerhead was too heavy, and it would not stay up! It was so frustrating. Also, there is this bump by the entrance of the hotel. When I was coming back from a quick trip to the near by store at night time, I completely forgot about its existence and I tripped and fell. I also witnessed other people tripping over it a few times. On positives - the staff at the reception was friendly and the housekeeping did a good job at keeping everything clean. I don’t have the experience of staying in other rooms, but I definitely not recommend the suite I stayed in, especially at the price I paid for.

Junior suite was excellent, spacious, and super quiet at night, despite being on the mezzanine level above the restaurant. Aircon was excellent and silent, just what as needed when it was 20-25 degrees C outside for most of the day. Bed was large and comfortable and bathroom was very good. Our only complaints about the room are very minor, the usb and usb c ports beside both sides of the bed didnt work so we had to unplug the speaker to plug in our own charger (we have extra long cables so this wasnt an issue for us) and the light switches took some getting used to, only one master switch by the door would turn off the lamps in the seating area so we had to use the master switch by the door to turn off everything, use our phone torch to find the next set of switches at night and then turn on the bedroom lamps as the switches by the bed couldnt control the seating area lamps. Staff were so nice; reception, restaurant and night porter/concierge were all very friendly and helpful. We had a light dinner one night and the food was excellent and staff super helpful, carefully explaining allergen information when the chefs complimentary dish was delivered.

Fabulous hotel! Staff was a ways friendly and helpful. Some of the best food in Madrid! I found definitely return.

Service was above and beyond. We only stayed 2 nights but wish we could have have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were beautiful. Very clean the showers were great and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was also outstanding.

Wonderful stay with a very large room, unbelievably comfortable bed and large/double shower bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room cleaned twice a day (spotless). Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Madrid
