Guys, please, please take care of yourself. We met thieves at the beach at midnight. We were three(one man and two girls) and there were three men. They were holding knives and they tired to kill us. It was nightmare.. The staff in the hotel, told me it happened just few days ago to previous customers who stayed in that hotel. Thanks god, no one injured. Hotel was old but it was big and familiar staffs. By the way, I will never come back to srilanka.

Da vi kom til Colombo om natten, og ringte hotellet for å gi beskjed om at vi kom, fikk vi beskjed om at hotellet var stengt/solgt til noen andre. Vi måtte der og da booke oss inn på et annet hotell kl03.00 om natten...… Hotel.com hadde ikke gitt oss beskjed om at hotellet var stengt...….

Very friendly staff, very good hotel overall. Will repeat if I am in Colombo again

Room wasn’t cleaned properly, could see small spider’s web everywhere in the room (wall lamps, bed headboard). Tea and coffee tray wasn’t cleaned and used ones had not been replaced with new bags. Wardrobe wasn’t cleaned. TV channels weren’t clear or cannot see at all.

Stille rolig sted. Ikke tilgang til strand. Ikke pool bar. Serverer ikke alkohol.

The rooms are very big and the hotel staff was very friendly. Only bad thing was the bathroom. It was kind of old and smelled a little.

Visited for a family gathering. This was a nice hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. It had a lovely pool and is a short walk from the beach. Overall a good stay.

The hotel staff were perfect. They were very helpful and great people when it came to needing help. The hotel staff cannot be faltered for anything. Amazing people. the hotel was just 2 to 3 mins walk away from the beach which was very good too. The management that runs the hotel who are Chinese were not accommodating at all. We had booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool and my wife could use it whenever she wanted. That was not the case cos the chairman and the CEO of the hotel (who are the Chinese owners of the business) wanted to get married to each other and they used the swimming pool. We had booked the hotel in advance and we had received no email that this was going to happen. The hotel staff had said they decided just a week before our stay. We were told that they arrange for us to use the swimming pool in a different hotel. Our hotel room did not have adequate wifi. The Management had limited the rooms so that only one device could join the wifi network. We complained a lot of times. Nothing changed until we had 2 days left of our holiday. Also, the electricity was very slow and didn't charge our electrical devices adequately. This didn't change no matter how we complained and the few times they sent over the maintenance guys. I tried to change rooms but it was the same problem with the electricity there as well. Very bad customer service from the owners and the compensation was very bad.

Huge large rooms. Clean, friendly staff. Amazing pool. Quiet. Not noisy. Very happy!

Went for a relaxed stay and this is what I got which was nice. For the price of the room it was very cheap and I couldn’t complain was really nice. Also The shower was lovely.

It was amazingly good and the staff were very friendly and supportive tom our stay comfortable

もう少しシャワールームを快適に。日本からの旅行向け、レストランメニューを工夫して下さい。日本のNHKがみたい。

Situated in a very convenient location. The price is excellent compared to other hotels. Excellent staff always with a smile. The pool is awesome always clean and well maintained so are the rooms. Overall a awesome place for a getaway.

We were touring Sri Lanka and stayed twice, a couple of nights each time. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel was, on the whole, well run. It's a short walk to the beach, but there is a very nice pool and the gardens are beautiful.

Desværre et 4 stjernet hotel under forfald. Kunne godt trænge til en modernisering. Dejlige store værelser og hyggeligt poolområde. Desværre har hotellet mistet sin alkohollicens. Så poolbaren var lukket og ingen vin til aftensmaden. Vi måtte gå ud og spise om aftenen, hvis vi ville have vin til vores mad. Havet og stranden er også meget snavset. Srilankanerne bør stramme sig op hvis turisterne skal blive ved med at komme.

The service at this place was unbelievably not up to the standard. In terms of service standards, a lot more has to be improved. Explanations such as the poor standard is due students working, is not acceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless the management is serious about the quality of service they offer. Some of experiences were: Running water suddenly stopped without any warning. When inquired was told that there is no water and it will take one hour for their water supply to restore. Just keeping the customers informed would be a good practice to implement. I had food poisoning from the food I ate at this place. Despite several notifications no staff from this place did contact me even to just discuss with me. My Husband called me from Australia for an urgent family matter. He was told that the system is not working and the call cannot be transferred. The staff agreed to pass a message to me but no one ever passed that message to me until I left few days later. I asked for a blanket and it took two days to deliver that was also after reminders. For the trouble, I went through I was offered a complimentary breakfast on the day I left. I appreciate the gesture but that hardly make any rectifications to poor service. You good a good asset in a fairly good location. Raise up your quality of service. At similar prices the other places I stayed in Sri Lanka offered a lot better service.
