The room is overall good with this over 100 year old building. Some might needed be maintained. But I am happy with the hotel and staff services. I will definitely staying here again.

昔からある格調高いホテル。エレベーターの扉も手動方式で、骨董家具を手入れして使用しており、好きな人にとってはたまらないと思います。ですが、電気まわりの取り付け方だったり、古めのエアコンなど、最新のテクノロジーを求める方にとっては物足りないと思います。レイクビューだとよかったのかもしれませんが、シティビューで通りの騒音が夜間も絶えませんでした。

Our stay was wonderful, we were lucky enough to have one of the newly renovated rooms at the hotel. The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating and the hotel is very centrally located - easy walk to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, eateries and shops.

The staff is very friendly and professional, upgraded our room and allowed us to check in early. The room is so beautiful and high-end. Location is super convenient, short walk to the tooth temple, at lake with beautiful views, surrounded by shopping stores. There was loudly construction sounds around 2pm, that disturbed the sleep.

You must read-up on what to expect at the queen’s hotel. It may or may not be for you. It feels like stepping back in time. The place is a little shabby in places but if you want to have that feeling of living a bit of history it delivers. It’s an excellent location and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The pool offers a break from the noise of town and just generally- bring your ear plugs! We really enjoyed our stay.

Det er et charmerende gammelt (-og lidt slidt) hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed og fin morgenmad. Man skal være indstillet på trafikstøj, hvis man har gade-vendt værelse.

A truely Victorian experience. The hotel has kept all its original charm while adding modern luxuries where needed.

They went above and beyond to assist me with all my needs. If you’re traveling in the area, I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff is incredibly warm and accommodating, making your stay truly enjoyable. Everything about my experience was exceptional.

The staff were amazing and on hand for everything and anything from reception and security to waiters and chefs. The pool attendant and gardener were also excellent

We like the charm of old colonial hotels and would recommend it because of the great location but you should no that a lot of things don't always work. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I saw the one room that has been renovated and it aas very nice with modern bathroom and still the room with colonial style.

Lovely historic hotel, yet sadly long overdue for a major renovation. Upgraded to a suite (thank-you), yet broken air conditioner that staff tried to fix with a broomstick/leaking ceilings in various rooms (dangerous on floorboards)/light bulbs broken & not replaced/dangerous electrical PowerPoints/shower mechanism broken & fell Off & hot water tap itself overheats & liable to burn. In a positive, bed & pillows comfortable, pool fantastic & staff very helpful. Particularly the Manager/CEO Mr Kumar.

Convenient location. Just close to all main attraction and restaurants, such as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandy lake. The hotel itself looks elegant and the maintenance is quite good. I especially enjoy the life that you can feel the living history of the hotel. It is also conformable to stay in the room. Good choice or stay here of you visit Kandy.

Old historic hotel. Amazing location. Serviceminded staff. Downside; too many big tour groups use this hotel, so not so cosy, when you come as the only ones not part of a large group

コロニアル調の外観は魅力的で、ロケーションも良いのですが、内部の施設すべての老朽化があまりにも激しく、しかも適切なメンテナンスや清掃がなされていないため、不便さや不快さを感じるだけでなく、部分的には滞在するのが危険とさえ思える面もあります。全面的に改築するか、宿泊施設以外の目的に変更すべき建物だと思います。

never had such a bad experience checking in, the girl (with glasses) at the reception was so rude it was laughable, I really got no idea how she got the job. the hotel is really nice and close to everything, but the rooms facing the main street get really noisy at night, the it gets quiet from 11 pm until 4am when the traffic (trucks, buses ect..) start again. ok for the location , the beauty of the hotel, the swimming pool, the bar , but avoid if you want some sleep . remember, be aware of the ignorant unprofessional lady at the reception! be ready to wait for a long time ! a long queue of people complaining when I left!

Good for business because of WIFI condition. LIght control at the bed side is very convenient

Keep your sense of humour and you'll get through the half to one hour check in process and you'll start to enjoy this quirky, totally inefficient hotel in the perfect location opposite the Temple of the Tooth. It's unapologetically rundown - but if you love heritage hotels you'll love this place. It has a nice restaurant with really lovely staff. It's the reception staff that desperately need training in how to deal with customers. We had zero explanation of why we were kept waiting for over half an hour. Very poor communication and generally inept. But again, get through the check in process and you'll be in heritage bliss - well, maybe not 'bliss' but you'll probably love the place anyway.
