Good hotel!! Bu, during three days, I have never had my room cleaned up. So, I had had to take out the trash. Except this, I am satisfied with this hotel.

The Giacomo hotel surpasses all of our expectations!!! From the staff, the cleanliness, evening bar , the complimentary breakfast and able to walk everywhere!!!! Loved it...thank you to all of the staff.

Great location for visiting the Niagara Falls. Staff very good. Nice complimentary breakfast. Decor a bit dated and dark.

Probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Large rooms with high ceilings, huge bathroom and a really cool, old retro vibe with soft lighting and mood music playing when you step into your room. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the bathroom was absolutely huge. The bed was very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. Also very close to Niagra Falls State Park and all of its attractions.

A neat old hotel within fairly easy walking distance of the falls. Some of the staff were a little snippy. Parking codes did not respond well. In and out was difficult.

Staff was friendly and responsive. Our room was beautiful and clean, but showing wear. We loved that this is a historical hotel and very close and walkable to all that we wanted to do in Niagra.

Absolutely enjoyed our week's stay. Staff was special and always courteous and professional. Facility was art deco and loved the rooms. Breakfast was good with fresh cooked items and bottomless coffee.

The staff at The Giacomo were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel was quirky and comfortable, just in need of updating and some repair. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the water and cookies!

Walking distance to Niagara Falls State Park. Loved the warm cookies at check-in. Was nice to watch the fireworks from the observation deck. Staff was friendly and helpful.

First the good...The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Check in was easy. Parking was great and secured in gated lot. The hotel was an easy walk to the falls. Breakfast was surprisingly good. A lot of options including waffles, french toast, tasty omlets, delicious fried potatoes and a lot of different condiments like whipped cream, nutella, and different berry syrups. The bad.... our room was awful. The air conditioner was mounted to the ceiling along with rusted pipes, and would randomly buzz super loud for 5 or so minutes at a time. It made for a rough nights sleep due to its sporadic and loud startling noise. There was a large blob of (im hoping food) splattered on the wall. The bathroom was dirty and had hair on the floors. The wallpaper was peeling from the walls, and the setup of furniture and how the doors swung made it feel clustered. To the hotel staffs credit, we did not complain, so we never gave them a chance to fix it. We just arent complainers. I feel like this was probably a really nice hotel at one time but felt run down and uncared for. Sadly that seems to be the theme of all the businesses in that area. Felt like the run down areas of Detroit. "The slums". Id recommend staying on the Canadian side of the Falls and just visiting the US side for a few hours.
