Verde Oliva Casa de Huéspedes

Go through the gate and you are in an oasis. Only 7 rooms and very personal service. The restaurant food was excellent. They make their own Malbec from their onsite vineyard (no label) for their guests and it's one of the best we had. Very convenient location for wine tours in Maipu, especially by bike.

Verde Oliva is a beautiful property that’s meticulously maintained. The rooms are quite big and there are lots of communal areas available for relaxing in, including a pool with loungers. The staff were super friendly and helpful and if you wanted to go to Mendoza City it’s a short Uber ride away. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent if you want to stay there. If you get a chance we suggest trying the asada (BBQ), it was a delicious and fun experience. We would definitely go back!

If you want a calm hacienda experience, this place is it. The service is great, the food is excellent and it is clean. Skip the large hotels and give this quaint, safe place a try.

Beautiful gardens and common areas. Excellent breakfast with good gluten free options. Welcoming, helpful staff. A few things didn't work, e.g., front gate, TV in our room.

Beautiful, cozy, elegant, relaxing, and well positioned. The barbecue dinner service was a big plus, something local, authentic and delicious, don’t miss it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is lovely and the staff was fantastic and so helpful. If you don’t have a car or a tour pickup, just budget 10-15 minutes for a cab/uber to get to the property since it’s a bit far from other Mendoza-area things to do (outside of Maipu).

The property itself was fantastic. Pool with perfect temperature to relax in, great selection of beers and the places own wines in the fridge. Spacious rooms, hearty breakfast. Really feels like you’re in your own (rather grand winery) home. Quiet and plenty of space to lounge about. Biking distance to a lot of wineries in Maipu. And the staff were incredible, very chill, friendly and responsive to WhatsApp or at the reception to help with any issue quickly. Honestly the highlight of our Mendoza stay was posada oliva verde more than Mendoza itself. The place is highly rated for a reason, very strong recommendation from us.

Fantastic option in Mendoza, with the whole feel of a vineyard and the unmatched attention of their personnel. Will absolutely come back. Alejandra, the manager, was beyond accommodating and we are very grateful for everything they have done for us during our stay.

Posada Verde Oliva is a fantastic small hotel located some way outside of Maipu. The staff are amazingly friendly, and we got lots of help from Alejandra, Nicolas and Paola to plan excursions, wine trips etc. The hotel grounds are gorgeous (much more so than the pictures), with a nice pool, a small vineyard and nice lawn). There are two buildings, where one contains most of the rooms and the reception and a large cozy sitting area, and the other is across the vineyard containing the restaurant and two more rooms. In all I think there are 9 rooms in the hotel, so very intimate. The rooms are spacious and clean, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is small and simple with eggs/bacon etc. cooked to order and a small buffet. Very good all in all. We didn't try the restaurant much outside of breakfast except once, when I got an exceptional filet mignon (sides were OK). There are two downsides to the hotel. The hotel is located next to a road where there is some traffic, not too much, but fairly fast moving, so depending on the room there can be some traffic noise. The other is that it's fairly remote from Mendoza, so there is limited choice of restaurants, and you need to take taxi or Uber to get around (typically 15 - 20 minute drive to go anywhere). Would recommend getting a taxi via the hotel as Uber is unreliable. The location upside is that you're very close to some of the best Argentinian wineries, Trapiche (great restaurant) and Rutini.

Hermosa posada, muy bien ubicada entre viñedos, olivares, a solo 15´del centro. La atención impecable, los detalles que hacen sentirse en casa. Super recomendable!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon and we honestly didnt want to leave. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the scenery was beautiful, staying amongst the vineyards and poolside was therapeutic. This place is so peaceful that it felt like a true getaway.

My only regret is that I cannot give this hotel 6 stars. They deserve it. Wonderful boutique hotel. Beautiful property. The staff is so helpful and so friendly. Great for dinner as well. The Malbec they serve comes from their own small vineyard on the property. We only planned on staying 2 days but extended to 4 because we couldn't make ourselves leave.

Excelente cuarto. Muy comodo todo. Desayuno de primera. Muy buen atención. Ha superado nuestras expectativas.
