The Mill Resort & Suites

Everything was perfect, staff super friendly.

Erg mooi hotel met een geweldig zwembad. De kamer was hygiënisch en voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. We hadden daarnaast een mooi uitzicht op de omliggende hotels. Helaas waren er ook een aantal punten die echt verbetering nodig hebben: • De airco maakte veel te veel lawaai. De ventilatiestanden werkten niet en op twee nachten koelde de airco onvoldoende. We hebben van kamer gewisseld omdat de airco daar iets minder luid was, maar het probleem bleef storend aanwezig. • Het ontbijt was van matige kwaliteit. De producten die klaarstonden waren van slechte kwaliteit en bovendien slecht bereid. Twee van de zes keer hebben we er uiteindelijk voor gekozen om buiten het hotel te ontbijten. • De receptionist die ons uitcheckte was erg onvriendelijk. Een meer gastvrije en professionele houding zou het verblijf prettiger afsluiten. Een tip, geen must: het zou leuk zijn als er wat extra faciliteiten waren, zoals een pingpongtafel, Beachtennis en/of een pooltafel, om het verblijf nog aangenamer te maken.

This was our first time in Aruba and I would highly recommend The Mill (it was changing over to the Courtyard Marriott while we were there). There was work and updates being done while we were there but the resort was already well-maintained and there was staff throughout cleaning every day. I was there with my family (including parents and tween children) and we all enjoyed it. The breakfast had a good selection and was good. There were always plenty of chairs available around the pool and we loved that the cabanas were free (first come first served) as well. There were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. If you take the hotel shuttle (golf cart) to the beach make sure you ask them to show you where the reserved chairs are because you had to walk just a bit from the drop-off area. The pool itself was big and never seemed to be too busy. I would definitely stay here again.

Many thanks to Zully from Allegra restaurant, Anderson from the desk, Yasmin from breakfast, Jose the Bellman, Julio from the beach, and not the least the housekeepers that cleaned our room 1251 on our last two days there (June 25, 26: Diana) they did a fantastic job! Lets not forget the staff from the shuttle- always available and kind. These staff members made our stay and we definitely will come back! The property is clean and well maintained. The iguanas were the highlights of our mornings after breakfast.

Beautiful property! Gorgeous, large pool. It never got too crowded, there were always lounge chairs and umbrellas available any time of day. The staff was very attentive and professional. Great free breakfast every morning. Property itself is so convenient- only 2 floors, literally can be in any room and you basically walk out to the pool or lobby. Within walking distance of the high rises, food and shopping but it felt far enough away at the same time that you didn’t have random people just walking through your resort or pool area all day. It’s in the perfect location. Great place to stay!

Same property as the Courtyard by Marriott, but we had to ask because it is not marked. Same staff, but 2 separate systems for check-in. They walk you away from the front desk to the concierge stand to check you into the Mills Resort. Too much sound travels between adjoining rooms, resulting in being awakened at 1am. TV is antenna only, no cable, and very poor reception. If you want news or entertainment, use your cellular telephone. We dialed the operator from the room multiple times with no response. I walked around to find someone to claim our bags. If you want service, I recommend tipping the person who greats you immediately to improve your experience where possible. For us, never again will we stay here.

Anderson fue excelente y muy amigable nos ayudo mucho en nuestra estadía. También nos dio buenas recomendaciones de que hacer en la isla.

Property is well located within Palm Beach and has many restaurants within walkable distance. Facilities are nice, nothing spectacular but decent level nevertheless We had an issue in the midst of our stay where our room smelled of paint due to some renovation works but staff were very attentive and moved to another room. Overall, our stay at the property was a very pleasant experience

We enjoyed our stay at the mill. The area was walkable and convenient to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
