Adventure Bay Retreat

Loved the serenity and quiet around it

Fairly isolated property overlooking Adventure Bay. A pleasant stay with the many wallabies and Tassie chooks. However it’s a good idea to remove shoes when arriving and staying at the property due to the excessive wallaby excrement all around the property.

It is a beautiful property. We loved staying there.

Secluded studio, lots of wallabies and even a white one up the road. Close to the beach... brrrr. With great facilities. A lovely stay

The property was amazing and unique. The view from the property was amazing it was wonderful to sit and watch all the wildlife, especially the white wallaby. It was very peaceful and private. The house was very clean and extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend this property just wish we could have stayed longer

An amazing place to stay. Very comfortable, beautiful private surroundings while still close to the beach, restaurant, store, etc. Well equipped with perfect bedding, all the kitchen facilities you require and a wonderful leather lounge for all to share and a great balcony with comfortable outdoor furniture from which you can enjoy the visiting wildlife - even white wallabies in the evening!

All the reviews are true! A really charming cottage in the most beautiful setting. Well-eqipped and very comfortable inside. Wallabies and different birds visit every day. We stayed 3 nights but would happily stay longer.

We had an amazing stay at the lodge. It had everything we needed and beyond. The wildlife around the house is stunning. We wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Such a gorgeous little cabin in the woods. Was incredible to be surrounded by so many animals and so secluded. Had a full kitchen and fridge which made it easy to make some food being so remote

This property has everything you need for a great stay! Plenty of space to spreadout, a full equipped kitchen, kids retreat, fire place and great outdoor area to enjoy a bbq with the local wildlife. Really relaxing place to stay. The owners have thought of all the small elements to improve your stay.

We had an amazing time close to everything fantastic hosts and everything we needed.

The huge property is inhabited by dozens of grazing wallabies. Our kids spent pretty much the entire time wandering the property watching them. When they weren’t there they were in the loft/kids area. The only one * I would put on it is that three and five year olds going up and down the ladder to the loft was often heart-in-mouth stuff! It’s a short drive down to Adventure Bay Beach, but you could walk down in around 10 minutes. Overall, it was perfect for us. We loved it.
