Great location and suited our needs. Private pool area to keep away from the crowds. Close walk to beach and other facilities on Catseye beach. Only down side was nowhere to hang clothes and no one came to fix it. No Wifi but advertised, would not connect no matter what we tried

Beautiful views from the balcony! The place is a great concept, wish it were a little cleaner, we had to wear our shoes inside or we would have black feet in minutes from the dirty floor. And there was hair in the tub drain. It was nice to have laundry in room. The balcony door needs two people to slide open but once you’re out there, it’s a million dollar view! The person from icare never contacted us a single time, and I had to reach out for check out instructions at 7:30pm the night before our flight because no one had contacted us at all. Luckily we didn’t need anything during our stay and were self sufficient but it was sad seeing that the service was great in the guest book by multiple guests, but we received no service besides charter from the airport, and luggage delivery to airport after we were told to take our buggy and ourselves to the airport. We had a wonderful time and these shortcomings didn’t ruin our trip, however it would have been nicer if these things didn’t exist!

We enjoyed our stay at the Poinciana. We especially loved the patio area and views over the water. The private pool area was beautiful and peacefully most of the time. The room was comfortable and clean although there was a bit of a musty smell. Overall we were very happy and would recommend to stay here.

Lovely view and location. Perfect size for a family of four with everything we needed. Having the buggy was awesome, and airport transfers as well as late check out made it all really easy.

Wonderful communication from start to finish.. More towels are required if anyone wishes to stay ask for more than the allocated people especially if staying as a family. Beautiful view, great location and clean apartment that needs only a tiny bit of attention.

The location and views were fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was ok but somewhat dated, the entry area was not really inviting, storage cupboards were poorly fitted, the timber floors inside and outside needed repairs or replacement. Kitchen had been updated with decent appliances, dishes ok, sliding door to balcony needed adjustments hard to use, no functioning lock.
Additionally be aware Hamilton Island has limited service facilities in restaurants and tours so ESSENTIAL to book in advance all dinners and tours to ensure you will be able to dine and explore the area. Overall fantastic time and place.

The beach lodge at Hamilton island was perfect in every way. Close to everything.
Beautiful apartment equipped with all you need fir an enjoyable stay. And the view over catseye beach is stunning .
Plus the bonus of having a buggy included to get around the island is fantastic.

Were met on arrival by very welcoming staff and had an early check in so able to fully enjoy our first day. Buggy provided as part of booking so visited many spots on Island. Room in excellent condition with pool close by. On departure had late check out and escorted to departure ferry. Everything went like clockwork and thoroughly enjoyed time

The view is fantastic and the unit had a buggy included. Otherwise, the room needs a lot of work and the large window looking into the bathroom is very awkward. Furthermore, you're basically on your own and should bring full toiletries since the one tiny bottle of shampoo/conditioner/body wash are used up after the 2nd day. Lastly, the plates & silverware are all mismatched and/or rusted. Surely not "luxury" as the property likes to dub itself. Basically, you get what you pay for and this is one of the lower cost options on the island that is otherwise an expensive place to book a room.

The apartment was ideally located between the marina and the beach. The views were amazing and overall it was a pleasant stay. Having said this, the dishwasher was not working and neither was the washing machine which is necessary when staying for 5 nights.
