Burleigh Beach Tower

Less cleanness. Dusty fan. We paid more than 500 box per night but the quality is in question. View was nice but a bit noisy at night. Very convenient location to access shops. There is not enough washing soap for washing machine. Used Coffee kits were left. Not enough rubbish bags to change by ourselves so needed to use practic bags from Woolworth. Shampoos and conditioners were not enough. Reception were not accessible for the weekend so couldn’t ask any support. Staff was nice though. Just needed to be well prepared for two nights stay during weekend.

Good car park would be easy to get to shops apart from massive roadworks out the front. Nice view of the beach with buildings only partially blocking view. Spacious and clean. Staff lovely. Definitely not cheap. Booked here for ease of walking to James Street but sadly the roadworks made it a chore.

Room was okay - nothing spectacular - but overpriced for what it was. When booking there was no indication that the pool would be closed for maintenance - one of the driving factors in booking here. We spoke to reception to discuss a possible discount due to the unavailability of the pool - we were met with a rudely defensive manager who implied it was our own fault for no forewarning about the pool because “we chose” to book through a third party (Wotif). The manager said (condescendingly) that there’s nothing she can do because we booked through Wotif - she became so rude and animated we ended the conversation and contacted Wotif who tried to help us with a resolution. Wotif staff were absolutely lovely and apologetic about the situation. They tried to contact the manager but after only confirming the pool was closed they were left on hold. Wotif recommended - if possible - to book elsewhere while they escalate the issue and seek a full refund. We would have settled for a small discount so as to not pay full price for something we couldn’t use, but ultimately it was the disgusting customer service that sealed the deal on us finding elsewhere. We ended up staying at a nearby Sofitel (5 star) for cheaper (we got to enjoy the pool there after all this). Do not recommend this Burleigh Beach Tower at all under the current management.

Amazing location right in the heart of Burleigh Heads, close to the beach and shops. Fantastic views of the beach, our apartment was perfect. Parking was easy in the underground car park.

Reception staff were lovely, property clean, grounds beautiful, however the room was advertised with a small balcony and we had two chairs over a concrete drain off the side of the room, that was NOT a small balcony. We have a son who is in the crawling stage and that was a big factor in booking the ground floor room for him, unfortunately we had to keep him inside the room which was also smaller than we thought because of the misleading property description.

Contactless check in, so super easy. Very convenient to walk into the hub of Burleigh. Nothing fancy but it is good for the night. Clean and beds were comfy.

I only booked this property for a night. The location is amazing. close to the beach, the cafes and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious and light, great views of the ocean, well equipped and very clean. I am only giving it a 4 Star because it was very noisy due to the digging work that's taking place as part of the tram line (I wasn't expecting the grinding to last until 11:30pm and jack hammer from 7am). Although this has nothing to do with the apartment, it still has an impact on the quality of the stay for customers.

Our apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed plus a fantastic view of Burleigh Beach below! Dining was especially good with various cafes and restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. A special thank you to the staff, they were fabulous!!😎😎

Construction was going on and even though checking in late Saturday, tradies who were not working had used up all the car spaces in the arrival area so was very awkward to check in and get to car park. Overall a little unsafe

The property is amazing. Great location. Great staff members wonderful unit.

The ocean views to southern Burleigh beach are fantastic. The apartment was wonderfully relaxing and a chance to unwind. We wish we could have spent longer.

Location and access

Convenient but thw road work continued throughout the night - very noise

Was not informed prior to booking that maintenance was being carried out. Noise gave my husband and I headaches. Otherwise the rooms were clean and well catered for although very strange having to dispose of one’s own rubbish. We accepted the roadwork noise we were aware of that prior to booking. It did make it hard to enter the premises but were able to cope with that.

We reserved a standard ocean-view one-bedroom apartment, expecting a slightly older but well-maintained unit based on online photos. Arriving Friday, we found reception closed (shut by noon, check-in from 2 PM), requiring online check-in. Retrieving the keys, we entered a dated two-bedroom unit, likely a basic two-bedroom per the hotel’s site, with a decent ocean view. The carpet was worn and poorly vacuumed, and the unit felt neglected, possibly only repainted since construction. Amenities were lacking: no hairdryer, just three small conditioners and one shampoo for a three-night stay, and a stained blanket. The kitchen was cramped and impractical, so we barely used it. Instant coffee/tea packets were provided, but the dish drainer was dirty. While the couches were spacious and comfortable, a layer of grime coated surfaces, with cobwebs in corners. Nighttime road construction below disrupted sleep, even with earplugs; the other side of the building would’ve been quieter. Though not the hotel’s fault, no prior notice was given. Burleigh’s stunning area kept us out exploring, making the stay a memorable one. The other aspects of the building were quite nice and I'm sure other units have been updated and would be much nicer to stay in. Just disappointed we did not receive the unit we expected. Even though the unit we got likely had a superior view, the rest of the experience could have been better if we were got the unit we actually booked. See attached photos.

Location was perfect. Unit recently renovated. We found the bed uncomfortable. A mattress topper would fix that.

The property was overpriced, lame, cheap, patched-up 70s-style apartments at luxury prices. The building is in desperate need of renovation. Completely taking the piss!
