Discovery Parks - Emerald Beach

The park overall was excellent and very well maintained. The only downside we could make was in size of the bathroom and shower in our cabin. Because the shower was so small the shower curtain kept sticking to you which was very annoying.

Great location. Very quiet yet close (walkable <5 mins) to coffee shops and beach. Delicious Hawaiian food trailer on-site for evening food. Ten mins walk to headland where kangaroos hang out. Definitely recommend!

Great place for the family to stay.

We checked in after hours and had easy access to our room keys through a safe outside the main office. Easy check in and check out. Nice place to stay with individual cabins.

My stay exceeded my expectations. It was quiet. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the heat from the air-conditioning. It was so close to the beach. I have Alpha Gal Syndrome, and this was my first time away since being diagnosed so had bought all my own toiletries, food etc and yet the toiletries were completely vegan and amazing. The local coffee shop - EB store knew all about Alpha Gal Syndrome and the food truck on site has a number of meals I could eat. It was amazing! Highly recommend this place and will come again!

Wonderful stay, as always. Clean cabins, clean grounds, clean facilities. The pool was a perfect temp, splash pad was amazing for the kids, beds are ridiculously comfortable and perfect to crash in after a day of fun.

We stayed in a budget cabin, that had a sofa, table and chairs and kitchen, balcony & A/C. Older but great for the price, it was very comfortable. (A ceiling fan in main bedroom would be the only improvement). The camp kitchen was great. A very kid friendly park with water play area, pool, bouncing pillow, 1/2 court basketball court and easy access to beach.

The room was very big and very clean. Loved being so close to the beach.

Definitely my top place to stay. I had booked an 3 day weekend. Although I booked late the amazing staff member over the phone was able to help me with late check-in protocol and took all my details. She was very helpful and pleasant to talk too. The Discovery Park’s notified me on numerous occasions, prior to arriving that the water equipment was closed for the moment. It was understandable as it was wet weather all the weekend. They did offer other facilities within the park such as the toddler room and movies at 2 pm for my young children. Tv in the cabin wasn’t a smart TV, although wasn’t an issue due to chrome casting. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin and had all required supplies to maintain the cabin. Cooking in the cabin was great gas stove worked fine and the pots and pans provided were decent quality. They had all the utensils and cooking equipment. The only negative was the Range-hood needed to be cleaned, as there was excessive grease dripping out when opened. Other than that the rest of the cabin was cleaned at a good standard. The sheets were white and felt great to sleep in, especially the double bed felt like a cloud. It was amazing after a six hour long drive to just come in and relax. The park was easy enough to navigate. Nobody was noisy and everybody was quite friendly. Overall was a pleasant stay and even better staff. It was also great to see them promoting small businesses within the community.

Basic cabin but good quality cotton clean sheets, comfy bed, very useful bed lights, shelf at side with plug for charging phones etc. Shower cubicle was a bit small but it had great shower pressure with piping hot water which was great as many places you stay at have tepid water and bad pressure. Only issue for us was that the TV was high on the wall so you had to watch TV by lifting your head back rather than it being eye height. Other than that - all good and would stay again as great position with dune walk though to the beach.
