Discovery Parks - Narooma Beach

Very well run and managed park. Cabin was perfect for two people or family of 4. Good location within a quick drive to Narooma. Within a 100m walk of beautiful Handkerchief Beach and its lovely tidal lake.

The park has continued to have great improvements since our last visit. Some very swish modern outdoor and indoor communal spaces with well equipped kitchens. We we were extremely happy with our cabin. Exactly what we wanted. Very clean and comfortable. Loved our few days stay and look forward to returning and to see the further improvement progress. If you haven't been, try it. Plenty of Caravan, motorhome and camping sites as well as cabins. Well kept and quiet park.

If it's location your after, and you have your caravan/RV/tent, it's fantastic. Seems to have everything a young family could possibly want and walking distance to an amazing beach, unfortunately that's where the positives end. Was moved out of original room into another one which was extremely dated. Queen bed was unbelievably soft and single bed, well let's just say iver slept on doubled over blankets that were softer. There was a very strange red splatter mark on the front of the bathroom cabinet and a fair few dead insects. After having an amazing experience at Discovery in Hahndorf, my wife and I were bitterly disappointed in our 2 nights here.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The staff at Discovery Parks were very friendly, patient, and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The accommodation was a tent-style cabin, and it was very clean. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and nice to use. However, there were a few downsides. The room did not have a TV, table, chairs, or Wi-Fi, which made it less convenient, especially for longer stays. It would be much better if Wi-Fi and basic furniture were provided. There were also no cooking facilities, although there was a microwave available for reheating food. Overall, it was a comfortable and clean place to stay, but adding a few basic amenities would really improve the experience.

Great little getaway location.

Park is south of Narooma and out of the way. The beach is beautiful and close with just a short walk. Furniture is a bit tired and need to be updated, especially outdoor chairs.

Need to focus on cleanliness, lots of cob webs hanging inside the room, buttom of the toilet pan is very dirty ,neighbours are making loud noise during 1:30 am otherwise it was okay.

Room was clean and had everything you needed. Except phone signal.

Whilst you couldn't see the sea from accommodation, you could certainly hear it.And it was only a very short walk through to the beach. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and all the amenities that you would need.. It was also exchangly good value

The cabins are very spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well rquipped. The surrounding forresty terrain gives nice shade on sunny days and creates relaxing ambience.

the tent was spotlessly clean & had a comfy bed with a huge on suite. the only thing that let it down was a lack of TV. Otherwise, it was great

The cabin needed some repairs with the main bedroom fan/light needing replacing and cleaning. The sliding door to the bathroom needs replacing. The spa bath to go as we had to step in the bath to have a shower. We managed ok but found it awkward. A walk in shower would be better. The staff member was most helpful at check-in and the location was great.

Great well equiped cabin. By the ocean. Pool. All excellent.

Facilities were great. Glamping tents in a great spot. Overall everything was excellent. 2 things to mention, 1. Arrived at 4.57pm. Zoe at reception wasn't very pleasant to be honest. Told us she had put our envelope in box outside. She had texted me at 4.47pm to tell me this ,which I hadn't seen as I was driving for 6 hours.All good except her poor reception. I realize we were close to knock off time but I couldn't help that. No.2....the aircon was on, to cool our tent, which was great but as we find everywhere we go the the filters on the aircon need a clean to operate more efficiently. I took them out and brushed them off......obviously hadn't been done in a while and put them back in. Aircon ran much cooler from then on. Easy fix but no one seems to do it. Otherwise great stay.
