Drift Palm Cove

5 stars all round you guys honestly earnt it, the reception lady (sorry for not remembering your name) for check in was very friendly and informative and made sure it was known we could just come see her with any question or any needs for our room, we had room 3102, it was truly a home away from home, as our family walked in it was clean and tidy even through the rush of early check in which we greatly appreciate you guys making sure it was ready for us. Loved the open kitchen full of utensils fancy and both rooms set up so well and the washing machine and dryer amazing then right out our back door was a very nice spa and pool area which looked even better at night, we also tried the palm cove tavern food was really nice everything was pricy but truly did level out price for quality and was worth it in the end so to me 5 stars are definitely earnt hands down thank so much to you all for such a great stay a home away from home

The second time we've stayed at Drift in Palm Cove and we would stay again. The property has everything you need and is in the perfect location. The only thing that would help would be a heated pool, however you don't really need it if you go in the Summer.

Honestly 10/10 what a great stay we had, coffee shops & food right there, beautiful beach & heaps of wildlife walking around, watch your step in the hotel (we were on the 4th floor and had to carry a little lizard down the elevator)

I really enjoyed this place. All amenities were great. Check in was my only issue. Check in was listed at 1400. I arrived shortly after this & I was told the unit wasn't ready. This was shortly rectified. There's also renovations happening at the moment so quite a bit of noise during the day. Otherwise a comfortable relaxing stay

The apartment was great (location, etc.) but the furniture was all pretty beat up and really needed replaced. There was also construction going on around the pool the entire stay, which was rather inconvenient. Staff were helpful but sparse.

Hardly ever write reviews but compelled to do so on this occasion. Photos show laminate floor boards, ceiling spot lights and indoor plants - it looked really nice and drew us in. The reality was different. Our 2-bedroom apartment was very, very tired and worn out and in desperate need of updating. All furniture was extremely worn out and needs to be updated. Beige tiled bathrooms, beige/off-white tiles in open plan living/kitchen/dining space, very worn out beige carpets in bedrooms, nil support in dining chairs; you sink into them. The lounge/sofa in living area also needs updating; worn out, stains, nil support. Nil indoor plants. Provide insect/mosquito repellent coils to use in balcony. The iron in the room had a frayed cord with wires visible. We thought it was unsafe to use and took to reception. The brought a different iron (with cap for the water compartment for steam missing) but at least it was safe to use. There is +++ black mould in the rubber seal of the front-loader washing machine and in the detergent dispensing drawer - this can be prevented by good hygiene practices, irrespective of the location being far north QLD, since there was no mould/mildew anywhere else in the apartment. The reception staff were always extremely attentive and helpful!

Clean and spacious room, comfortable stay, and a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Nice studio apartment overlooking garden. Kitchen well supplied. Comfy bed.

Room wasnt inviting. Large unit. Needed a good clean. Maybe a electric frying pan. Air cons didn't work to well and the mosquito's were horrible. The staff were nice.

The room could have been cleaner on arrival, however overall we were happy with our stay.

Room itself was not clean. Dust behind the bedside tables, tv unit and on the side of the washing machine. Dust all over the ironing board. Beach towels provided to us with stains. Dryer door kept falling off. Great location and nice pool.

Room was clean and tidy, disappointed that the towels only were replaced after 5 days but the bed sheep were not. No WiFi

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im The Drift in Palm Cove, Queensland. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr schön gestaltet – der Poolbereich und der Garten sind gepflegt und laden wunderbar zum Entspannen ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Empfang an der Rezeption: ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit. Es war bereits unser dritter Aufenthalt im The Drift, und wir hatten erneut dasselbe Zimmer gebucht wie im letzten Jahr, was für uns ein Zeichen dafür ist, dass wir uns hier grundsätzlich sehr wohlfühlen. Positiv aufgefallen ist uns, dass die Küchenausstattung verbessert wurde – es gibt nun mehr Besteck, Teller und Kochutensilien, was das Selbstversorgen deutlich angenehmer macht. Allerdings möchten wir auch ehrlich anmerken, dass die Sauberkeit des Zimmers diesmal nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Gerade in einigen Ecken hätte es etwas gründlicher sein können, was wir im Vergleich zu unserem Aufenthalt im letzten Jahr schade fanden. Zudem sind die Möbel inzwischen deutlich abgenutzt, und sowohl das Mobiliar als auch das Zimmer insgesamt könnten eine Renovierung sowie einen frischen Anstrich gut vertragen. Man sieht kleinere Ausbesserungsarbeiten, die nicht wirklich störend sind, aber vielleicht ein Hinweis darauf, dass das Zimmer insgesamt einmal umfassend überholt werden sollte. Trotz dieser Punkte ist die Anlage nach wie vor sehr schön, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut.

The apartment was adequate for our needs, clean, comfortable and with extras like washing machine and dryer, microwave/airfryer/convection plus hotplates. The pool area is lovely and access to everything was an easy walk plus right on the beach. We would definitely go back.
