Gilgara Retreat

Recently stayed at property 9-13th June. Rooms are very modern, spacious and upmarket . Property is about 10 mins drive from margaret river.

Awesome location. Will be back!

Good stay

Good central location at Margaret River as a base to go up or down the region. Likely to disturb your neighbors if you talk loudly and use devices at full volume. Good place is you’re looking to be quiet and calm. Can hear the road from the apartment units but there’s not much traffic in the area so it’s not very disruptive.

Just a shame there’s no one to talk to if I wanted to extend my stay etc. no phone number either just online bookings.

We stayed in one of the garden Parker’s at Gilgara retreat and it was beautiful. Such a unique layout, relaxing and ideal for our short getaway! Great communication, easy check in and checkout process! Would be back again!

Amazing place!! A piece of paradise!!!

Terrible customer service skills. I spent the first night wide awake because of their vibrating and incredibly noisy fridge which kept banging against the wooden door where it was kept. I had to keep getting up every hour to push the fridge back in and close the wooden door. When I told them the following morning, and requested for aother fridge to be swapped with mine (they had another 5 empty studios they could have swapped with, their only solution was to either keep the existing fridge where it was, or leave it outside the studio and use ear plugs for the duration of the stay. What this meant, was that each time I wanted to use the fridge, I had to open the blinds all the way up to go outside which meant everyone could see inside my studio at night! We are in winter too so it was extremely cold too. When I asked for a refund for the first night which was spent sleepless, their answer was they would not because they had given an "appropriate" alternative to my stay - having to leave the fridge outside . If that is what they call giving good customer service, it is in my opinion terrible service. I would not recommend this place at all.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the property was and the apartment we stayed in was vey comfortable and all amenities were excellent.

Absolutely loved our stay at Gilgara! Was so quiet & beautiful and had such a relaxing stay! The apartment is fabulous and has absolutely everything you need! Will definitely be back when in Margaret River again!

Lovely relaxing place to stay, nice bath, nice bed.

A very good location and interesting design of the buildings with lot's of glass letting the outside in. However, when the property supplies sleeping masks for your eyes it is a sign the sun is up early and so are the guests as you can't block out the upper windows. Other than that this a great location and property.

A wonderful and relaxing place to retreat and switch off for a few days amongst nature but also very close to town and the ocean.

Beautiful, private accommodation. Perfect for a couples weekend away. Only 5 minutes drive from Margaret River.

Excellent! A very beautiful place to stay for a relaxing holiday!

We enjoyed a nice weekend get away at Gilgara, was clean and comfortable rooms with a cute setting. Only downsides are that walls are a little thin and can hear the room next door plus road noises from the main highway.

Peaceful. Beautiful estate surrounded by green grass and large trees. Kookaburras and kangaroos everywhere

Gorgeous place. The room was lovely, gardens incredible, perfect getaway

Our stay was amazing. Jean Pierre made us feel very welcome. This place is perfect for an adult retreat.
