Excellent as usual

Had no wifi in our room and had to go to the reception area to get it.

We enjoyed our stay at the property, it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The property ground were beautiful and well-maintained. The pool was lovely too. Be aware that there is no wifi in the guest rooms and you can only use Wifi in the common room. The common room is comfortable with couches but it gets very hot as there is no aircon. Staff were receptive and accommodating to our late check in.

Meget venlig og hjælpsom personale. Et lille paradis med gå afstand til indkøb, strand og havn. Roligt resorts med masser af grønt og en lækker pool. Kan varmt anbefale det og kommer gerne tilbage.

Beautiful place. We loved it from the first moment. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but extended it with 3 more nights. Nice garden and pool area. So close to the beach! Would definitely stay again.

Spot on

This is a fantastic resort. Whilst it's a little bit older, the rooms are open and spacious. The bed and pillow super comfortable and the property offers great value for money at a convenient location to the beach, restaurants and marina. Jennie was the manager and our point of contact. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the island, and a real joy to interact with.

A beautiful gem of a hotel! Reception was lovely, pool and rooms were great, beach only 2 minute walk away! Only issue I have is we didn’t stay long enough!

Very Spacious, ( I loved the high Bure style ceiling and fans and A/C) clean,comfy and quiet ,self catering possible with grocery store within few minutes walk, and a couple of eating options close by. lovely landscaped pool with shade, bus close by, beach 2 minute walk away. very friendly staff I loved my stay there.

Nice property and nice location would stay again

We loved our stay here. Amazing service by the front of office staff, rooms nice and clean. Great location, close to beach, rock wallabies, ferry terminal, buses and shops. Quiet accommodation with a nice pool and tennis court.

Very good stay. Staff were extremely helpful. On arrival the receptionist told us all about the island and things to do. It was very clear she was passionate and gave us some great tips for food and activities. I also wanted to do some laundry after the staff hours and someone arrived within 5 mins to provide change. Much appreciated. Would recommend to anyone who comes onto the island. Also next to a bus stop which is 1dollar a day for unlimited travel around the island.

The staff contacted me to confirm arrival and check in and made sure we were able to access the room as we arrived after hours. Staff were all extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommended staying here.

Clean, friendly staff and quiet

A great place to stay. Amenities were very good, close to transport and a grocery shop.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the privacy. You could hear people going to the toilet. I wouldn't let that stop me from staying here again though.

We were at Magnetic Island for 5 days with a couple of diving days included. Island Leisure Resort was a great place for our stay, close to Nelly Bay and Jenny and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room had very comfortable QS and Single bed, kitchenette with microwave, full size fridge, hotplates, cooking utensils, kettle and toaster. We were also able to get a coffee plunger. The bathroom was large with a screen-less shower, plenty of towels and toilet paper supplied. A TV was mounted high up on the wall and there was a reverse cycle air-conditioner. A small outdoor area was nice for the afternoon sun. They don't service the rooms during your stay, which we prefer. The WiFi is free and works well. Getting there from the ferry, we walked with our bags but in hindsight we should have caught the bus or a taxi, an easy walk with no bags. Taxis are $15 to almost anywhere I think and the bus is an excellent way to get around the island. We bought a week's pass and used it every day. There was a pool and laundry, tennis court, and also a games room with table tennis and a small kiosk for any essentials you need. Foodland is a short walk up the road and there's a pharmacy and bottle shop there as well. Overall it was a comfortable and quiet place to stay and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we come back to Maggie.
