Kooii Apartments

Room was clean, ideal location to our office. We will use these premises again as they suit our needs perfectly.

Overall happy with the accommodation. Parking on arrival in peak hour was difficult, as there was a clear way until 7 pm. So you had to park in the side street. Make your way back reception, to be given key and parking instructions.

Great place to stay. Spacious room with separate lounge/dining.

Standard of accommodation was excellent. The only issues were the local area being a place for homeless people sleeping on footpaths, and also prostitutes on corners. Loud concert noise from a nearby venue one night prevented a good night's sleep.

Clean apartment and lovely staff

I feel compelled to share a few details of my experience becasue there were several details which detracted from my experience in this venue. I'll start with the positives - the apartment was clean, bright and modern with beautiful city views and in a really convenient location. The front desk staff were lovely and super helpful on check-in and check-out. Now for negatives: #1 The loud bathroom exhaust fan was hardwired to electricity and couldn't be turned off. I ended up having to turn off the lights circuit on the safety switch to stop it since the switch labelled "Fan" did nothing. #2 The passive-aggressive note on the kitchen counter thanking me for staying and reminding me to wash up and put away any plates or cups etc or be subject to an additional cleaning charge. Feels icky in a "serviced" apartment. #3 The lighting...(OMG - if I got a dollar for this one) Call me a lighting snob, but the 4 lamp bulbs were either Cool White or Day Light coloured which made the place feel like an office at night. Call me a lighting snob, but Warm White globes should be used in lamps. #4 Pillows - all 4 pillows were really thick/high. While this might suit some, it left me with a sore neck in the morning.

Kooii apartments are great, very clean, comfortable and functional. Pros - comfy beds, spacious, great ammenities, parking, hot showers. Cons - couch could be more comfortable, no basic pantry items (salt/pepper/clingfilm etc), noise from nearby outdoor venues on the weekends. If you are staying Friday to Sunday and are not partying, bring earplugs and request rooms away from the noise if possible. Otherwise it is a great place to stay even for the week.

Great rooms, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the area around the hotel vicinity has lots of homeless so be mindful of that when going out at night.

Great location, clean with everything you need including laundry. View was terrific and love the setup of the place. Would highly recommend Kooii apartments to anyone wanting a great stay in Brisbane.
