Lovedale Cottages

Very sweet cottage, quiet and pretty. The fireplace and spa was a hit.

We had a fantastic stay at Lovedale Cottages Hunter Valley, enjoying the cozy log fireplace, spacious spa bath, and excellent amenities, making it the perfect romantic getaway.

Was surprised by the cost as it was in USA dollars so was far more expensive then I thought. Was very rustic which was nice but the table very sticky like it had never been wiped down. Very cold the fire was not efficient. Great location.

We had a lovely time My only complaint was it advised free wifi I was not able to access wifi I had brought work to do So a little disappointed I think it needs to say that wifi is hit and miss

The cottage is quaint and rustic on an amazingly quite property with their own small pond/lake, golf course and pool. Hudson (rescue dog) is lovely and curious and loves saying hi to the guests staying, having his company on walks around the property is great. The owners communication is extremelly thorough and covers all the bases from getting to the property to activity suggestions.

With a beyond ballooning experience planned the first morning, the property was ideally located. Also having 2 teenage boys, the pool and tennis court proved invaluable to entertain them. Excellent bbq too. Thanks.

Space and privacy opportunity to relax

A genuine country cottage holiday, back to nature, beautiful, warm and cozy.

I rarely leave bad reviews but I want to warn unsuspecting travellers. I paid $1268 for 2 nights stay and the property is appalling. The cottages appear to be built by an amateur using second hand materials. They must have gaps in the wall as a bat flew in and hovered around the lounge room. One window was warped and had panels of glass perilously close to falling out. The outside furniture probably came from kerbside collection and there was an old vinyl lounge on the front veranda. We couldn't use the table on the back veranda as it was so unstable. The tennis court was run down and don't bother bringing golf clubs. The pool was clean but uninspiring. The cottages were slightly better inside. They were clean with the exception of an old lounge. Breakfast was basic and a half drunk bottle of orange juice was left in the fridge. The single beds only had a bottom sheet and flimsy quilt. I requested extra sheeting which was delivered. Fortunately we brought extra blankets as the cottages were cold and the fireplace was ineffective. The property was located in a convenient area but there are plenty of other options available. The advertisement for this property is misleading. One star at best.

A lovely quiet rustic atmosphere. Good value for those who don't need all the luxuries.

Lovely super quiet location with pleasant surrounds. Sadly some of the outdoor amenities are starting to look a little tired. Overall we found the peaceful serenity very relaxing.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing break this is definitely for you.

Rustic cabin that was cosy. Great that breaky is provided and the kids can swim in the pool in winter and play with the chooks.

Very relaxing with a rustic charm. Your privacy was respected. It was like you had the whole place to yourself.

Everything we needed was there. We absolutely enjoyed our weekend.

Amazing little private cottage on a beautiful prop

Lovely place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Close to shops etc. close to all the wineries. Will definitely stay there again.

No Stayed with a group of colleagues as we were at a 2 day conference nearby. It was great to be able to stay as a group and we certainly took advantage of the comfortable living space, fireplace and cooking facilities. Breakfast was appreciated as well as the comfortable beds and clean linens. Our only comment would be thank you for advising us of the potential for cold - the heater provided could definitely be updated to make the cottage warmer in the winter. The signposting to the cottage could be a little clearer for a night arrival but we appreciated the time taken to send us driving instructions and key arrangements. Overall a very nice stay and we were sorry we didn’t get more time to relax in the quaint Bush surroundings.

Cottage was lovely, everything you needed was there in the kitchen. A bit dusty but not bad over all. Our grandson loved the pool and the Putt Putt.
