The price, handy to Darling Harbor and Ferries, large and modern rooms, staff very helpful and friendly, overhaul the proximity to bars and restaurants and places of interest was great especially that we had friends from interstate staying there.

The "smoke-free" room were allocated to my son and his girlfriend. The room had a very strong tobacco odour and it triggered an asthma attack by my son's girlfriend.
They requested a room change. The receptionist did not accompany them to the room and the second room had a similar tobacco odour.
My son and his girlfriend relocated to another property. Napoleon-on-Kent refused to refund the three nights accommodation despite Wotif.com contacting them.
Please do not stay at Napoleon-on-Kent and have any dealings with these immoral people.

We stayed in a deluxe 1 bedroom as we needed a king bed. Apartment was very clean, renovated on 4th floor looking towards Darling/Barangaroo areas. After reading other reviews I was not expecting anything great but was pleasantly surprised. We had the freeway directly above our room and never heard any noise, there was occasional road noise from street level like any other city hotel I've stayed in but that's the extent of it. Apartment was air-conditioned and bedding comfortable, small balcony if you wanted fresh air outside. Staff were polite at front desk, car parking in basement that could be accessed via a lift and hotel central to everywhere you want to go in Sydney. I would stay here again and will let others know about this place.

Highlight was that it was in a great central location, easy walk to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay & train station. Friendly staff & great price. However it was dirty, the rubbish hadn't been cleaned from the last person, there was lipstick on the glasses. They also didn't give enough toilet paper or toiletries for our 2 night stay. Probably wouldn't stay again.
