Pine Tree Motel

Das Motel war ok für ein paar Tage. Es war sauber und es gab Frühstück. Wir waren im der nebenzeit dort. Es waren viele Bauarbeiter dort. Insgesamt alles ok. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich.

The property was a stopover and suited my needs. It was safe and clean, I didn’t use any of the facilities, and would stay here again

It was a nice property for a stop along a route through the Outback.

Where do I start? I called the Property to let them know I would be there late. They said there will be a key in a box for me. I arrived. No key in the box. Tried calling for 20 minutes. No answer left a message as I had my granddaughter with me got a return call to be advised that there was a key in the box under the carpet And my room was number six only to find out when I got to room number six someone else was in there on a man with a 20 month old child frighten the life of him not to mention myself to then be told no you can go to a mix Room number four another man sleeping. It’s 11 o’clock at night they said as these people were in the rooms and not meant to be there that would send someone around to sort out. I was then given so called upgrade rooms not on upgrade at all. I would not stay again as the room my key I was given could open up every apartment I wasn’t the only one with one of these keys safety not so great Not to mention that I’m saying that it was gonna send someone at 11 pm or 1130 by this time to kick them out on the street and beat them up not very safe or secure nor something I want to hear in front of my 20 month old granddaughter. Bed was hard sheets were not so nice they had pilling all over them shower was cold no hot water taps were falling off. The wall and tiles were broken in the entry to the bathroom. Internet service was very slow TV didn’t even run programs on pay TV very disappointing. The pool was nice. The staff in the morning very apolog

The hotel pool is well equipped with a BBQ facility, cooking equipment and seving plates, it was fantastic after been visiting the national parks near Katherine in warms days to return to the hotel have a swing in the pool and use the bbq for facilities to cook dinner instead of going out to a restaurant.

Relaxing stay in Katherine. Motel had all the necessary features. Pool was enjoyable albeit a little cool. Entry requires a code to enter on a keypad. A little tricky on arrival as we had not received an email re the code. Quickly resolved with a phone call to the contact mobile. Staff quite helpful. Katherine has a number of features eg Nitmuluk Gorge, Hot springs, Top Didj that can fill a few days.

The decor may be a little dated but don’t let that fool you. Great little spot to stay. Staff are super friendly and we thought the include breakfast was awesome and catered really for those with allergies.

Price charged for stay did not reflect condition. Bathroom sink had a big crack in it, bed was rock hard. Inadequate parking.

Vi tilbrakte 4 netter på Pine Tree mens vi utforsket denne delen av Northern Territory og Nitmiluk nasjonalpark. Stedt var litt slitt, men det var både reint og komfortabelt. Det var ingenting å utsette på servicen til eier og ansatte. De gjorde det de kunne for å gjøre oppholdet vårt så bra som mulig. Motellet er i gangavstand til butikker, turistinformasjon og spisesteder. Pine tree kan anbefales som et godt alternativ til en fornuftig pris.

Loved it. It is a late 70s property with original fittings, but is very clean. To our delight a full breakfast was part of the deal and at night they make excellent pizzas that you can buy at eat by the pool. The manager was chatty, the staff happy and friendly. Would happily stay again if ever going to Katherine.

Management were super lovely and very helpful recommending places to visit and eat at. Great atmosphere around the pool with margaritas and pizza. Great breakfast with hot and cold options. The motel is very central to everything and was an excellent base for travelling around the Katherine region.

This place hosts Territorian style hospitality by the pool most nights. I found their minimal use of air fresheners /cleaning fragrance most pleasing.

Dated hotel, but very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice pool area. Secure parking .
