Nice accommodation

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, much too hard. Children constantly running along the wooden veranda at 6am both mornings didn’t make for good start to the day 😵‍💫 Great size apartment, good food facilities close by.

This was a very restful and self contained location. The bakery is a must, the walks to the beach, and just sitting on the patio was lovely.

I loved our stay and was so impressed with the size of the room, the comfy bed, the awesome facilities in the room, the balcony, all of it! Will definitely be back again. However, unfortunately I do feel I need to mention a couple of disappointing factors which I only mention on here so attention is brought to it & dealt with. We couldn’t sleep on the king bed’s pillows because they smelt really badly of sweaty, dirty heads ! The pillow slips were clean but when I took them off to try and work out what was smelling so bad, the pillow protectors underneath were literally stained yellow and in shocking need of a wash (or throwing out). Whilst the bed sheets were schmicko clean and fresh, the doona in between them was yuk! Tatty, worn, dirty and musty - needs to be thrown out and replaced, was quite shocked to think a quality resort would use this on their beds. Finally, my son was so excited there was a Nescafé Mini coffee maker as he loves making me pod-coffee, but when he took it apart we got a nasty surprise. It had not been cleaned or even rinsed for possibly weeks as there was mouldy coffee still in the drip tray. We soaked it but it was really hard to get clean. Grossed out, we soon gave up. Loved having he excellent quality washing machine & dryer at my disposal but I had to change the filter first as it was full. As I have room attended in busy resorts myself, I’m guessing this is an issue of management not allowing enough time for housekeeping to be more thorough.

Always enjoy my stays at Seashells, it's one of our favourite locations. Highly recommended.

Lovely getaway in a fabulous location great accommodation - will definitely be back!

We had a lovely short stay at Seashells. It’s in a beautiful location, the grounds are like the botanical gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great walks and close to The Cave hotel for meals and entertainment.

Beautiful property that would have been amazing in its prime. Currently the building is looking unkempt, with lots of spider webs on balconies. The rooms are nice and spacious, although not well cleaned. Carpets not vacummed, bins not empty (we found used tampons in bathroom bins and smelly food in kitchen bin). Food crumbs in couch and dirt in cutlery draw. I went to the reception straight away after seeing the room and was told she didnt actually work there and was just covering, but that she would contact the manager and call me with a response and get a cleaner. But that never happened and havent heard back from the property. The bathroom towels were very cheap and poor quality, not a nice luxury. Bed was hard and sheets average. Definitely not worth a 4-5 star hotel price point, but definitely could be if owners invested in good cleaners and amenities.

The room was standard, but the bathtub where the shower is located was quite high and not easy to climb in and out of. The tub itself is deep, which is a nice feature, but it had stains that couldn’t be removed, which affected the overall cleanliness. I’ve stayed in their apartments before and had a fantastic experience, but unfortunately, this particular room didn’t meet the same standard.

The property manager was quite rude and not at all helpful. I had booked a ground floor with spa unit as i have some mobility issues due to having a bad knee that is due replacement, on arrival i was told that we had an upstairs unit, i questioned this and said i had booked a ground floor unit and he told me i didnt. After managing to get our stuff up stairs i managed to find my booking confirmation saying i had indeed booked a ground floor unit and went back down to reception to raise this again only to find the office closed as it closes at 4pm (2 to 4pm manned check in). So we made the best of it and enjoyed our unit, all be it with a struggle to get up and down the stairs to go out for a meal. The next morning, i went down to the office to again speak to the property manager about our booking (we had booked for 2 night's) i showed him my booking confirmation and was completely brushed off. He was quite rude and condescending about it and stated that was only a request not a booking confirmation (not what it said on my paperwork. He basically told me it was tough luck and would just have to deal with it. As someone who works with a lot of clients with physical limitations i would not recommend this place at all to anyone who has any physical limitations as even if you do book a unit that should be suitable (they have multiple different booking options when making your selection) there is clearly no guarantee that you will get the room you book. Managment dont care.

Excellent atmosphere and food choice

I like presentation, cleanliness, everything in the apartment. My only problem was no pool.

We always find Seashells a fabulous place to stay. The apartment and grounds are great because we have dining options with Caves house nearby and the kitchen facilities. Also it’s an easy walk to the Yallingup beach. We were also appreciative of an early check in as we were finishing a 5 day stay through Caves house apartments and starting a 2 day stay with Seashells. As they had a vacancy from the day before we transferred our belongings before midday to the nest apartment.
