Shangri La Gardens

no restaurant at property although that wasn’t really an issue as it was next to a shopping centre which had some fast food places and of course the pub next door. Very comfort Room would recommend it

The room was very clean and big enough with a decent sized bed, small sink and bar fridge, sofa, coffee table and bathroom. The breakfast box was handy too with cereal, milk, juice and mini Carmen bars. Staff was very helpful with holding our bags and printing our documents.

Nice clean room, easy parking very quiet and helpful staff.. Shame the resaurant was closed but other places within easy walking distance.. very good..

Check in was easy and simple. The room was clean and very quiet. Even though they dont have an onsite resturant there are many options nearby. Will definetly stay again.

Great spot. Quiet. Staff super friendly, bathroom was massive and you could shower without water running over the floor with a large traditional shower. Only downsides were the restaurant was closed and the rooms don’t get a lot of natural light. Was close to Cruise terminal tho which was our objective and much cheaper and easier to get to than the airport motels.

Stayed in one of the renovated Queen suites. The room was good sized and well lit, very clean, very comfortable bed, good bathroom with shower. It had plenty of storage space, a double couch/sofa bed, chairs and table, chest of drawers, TV and aircon. There was an iron and ironing board, and hair drier. Internet access available though we didn't use it. One of the windows could open to allow fresh air in yet remain secure. Plenty of parking - able to park outside room which is a big plus. Small though good sized fridge functioned well and was stocked with milk and water. The Motel was obviously larger and grander in the past, but is adequately maintained. There is a swimming pool that appears fine. There appear to be some areas that could be used for business. The restaurant is closed but an adequate continental breakfast box is provided for each guest. Kettle with tea, coffee, milk with cookies provided , renewed each day. The reception and housekeeping staff are all pleasant and helpful. The motel is vey conveniently located for the Eastern suburbs, and is not very noisy despite its location on a main road. It is close to several small shopping centres. We will be happy to stay again.

Its a very out dated facility and not worth the money paid. No smart tv, the blinds dont shut properly so the light(thats never turned off outside) comes through, the bed was very uncomfortable and had a massive lump in the middle, no microwave, no toaster, only had terrible instant coffee, no pod machine, a kettle and long life milk. You have to climb into an old rickety bath tub to have a shower and the tap is at the other end. Unless this place was the only available hotel in an emergency I'd probably not go back.

This Motel is very good and clean ! It is only to far away from the city ! Taxi cost over 60 $ ! If you have a car, than it is superbe !

The lady at the desk was lovely and the room was sufficient.. but the information given on the rooms says breakfast included.. this is not the case whatsoever. It is a little boxed snack you can take from the front desk with a snack.. very misleading. They haven’t had breakfast served since 2020.. the rooms are fine but the overall photos of the motel is not at all accurate.

Always a pleasure to walked into a clean room and everything is in order, the daily housekeeping from your housekeeping staffs. Excellent job housekeepers, appreciate every effort you put together to make our stay an enjoyable one. We will surely recommend Shangri la gardens to everyone. We love to be a returning guests to Shangri la all the time.. thanks 🙏

BEWARE! We paid a high price for this place because the listing said "breakfast included" and that it was a top-rated breakfast. In reality, the breakfast consisted of a little bag of cereal, a mini muesli bar, and a juice box, in the room. Apparently there used to be a restaurant on the premises, but it is permanently closed. Also, the A/C was not working. It made a noise like it was trying to start up every couple of minutes, but couldn't start. The noise continued even though we turned it off. Also, the carpet was badly stained in several places and there was an odd smell in the room. The "windows" were glass block, so we couldn't see outside unless we opened the door, and the TV was tiny. This is not the high rated motel that they want you to think it is. We feel totally mislead and ripped off!

Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The bathroom didn't have anywhere to put your toiletries but on the floor. Very quiet

Great location and loved the grab and go breakfast however house keeping did not refill soap, toilet paper or tissues so when we arrived back from a big day at a sporting event we had no soap for showers and couldn’t use the toilet due to no paper source.

the front desk lady is very kind, great customer service , but the whole thing is misleading , 1. it’s a Motel not a hotel , this should be advertised 2. the breakfast is a pre packaged box, there is no reaturant it was closed years ago 3. you can’t really turn up the AC as it starts leaking , the room wasn’t cool enough

Excellent place to stay for an early morning flight from Brissy airport. Very clean and comfy room, with an exceptionally clean and spacious bathroom. Great value, close to shops and simply a welcoming place to stay. Would definitely stay again!
