Three nights for 2 adults and 2 children. Best deal we got in Surfers with parking. New manager a very genuine guy. Looking at the reviews I got the impression, 5 excellent then one really bagging the place (*see below). Our experience was excellent, entered to lovely large white tiled floor, very fresh and clean. Good air and airflow inside. We had a bathroom as well as an en suite, full size fridge, modern dish washer, a top loader and dryer. Outdoor gardens designed and well kept. Private jetty. Between two resorts, so some outdoor conversation at night, no problem but potential* for a problem with wrong crowd. Fantastic location with short walk to tram/bus and the life of Surfers.

The property looked nothing like the photos. It was dirty, old and stunk like mould. This place was an absolute nightmare and I can’t believe it’s still being rented as it does not meet minimum accommodation living standards. The hotel management are awful and basically scamming people. We left straight after checking in and stayed somewhere else.

Enjoyed our stay and the unit was in a good location unfortunately there were some repairs that had not been attended to, management advised they had not been reported by previous stays. Reported
to management unsafe powerpoint in master bedroom (handing out from wall), shower dripping constantly and Airconditioming not working which was rough in 30° temps along with broken outdoor furniture. Management were great when this was repoeted however due to day and time if areival repairs unable to be completed during our stay.

I had no dishwashing liquid shower screen was broken and left to the side. Dryer wouldn’t work. We had no cooking utensils. My daughter was swimming in the pool when a worker decided to come and just start tipping chemicals in without asking her to hop out, this should be done when the pool is closed of a night. The same man entered our apartment to look at our dryer without us even being advised which made us feel a little uncomfortable they should have checked this either prior to us staying or when we had departed the property they were aware the dryer wasn’t working prior to us staying. I have never complained about a property until now and I camp in some pretty rough places which was more comfortable then this.

Property run down. No manager on site. When manager was there didn’t speak English or should I say could but preferred not to understand what we had to say. We had to leave as the qld boarder was getting closed so we only there for 5 days not 14 and manager took all money for 14 days from us. Not just for the 5 days. RUN DOWN full of back packers making a lot of noise ever night and dnt care about anyone else in the place. But once again no manager on site at all to call and talk to will never be staying there again and will be telling family and friends not to stay there as it is a joke . Places like this should not be on sights like this . They make it sound great but it was a place I would not ever want to stay in again

I gave this rating because the place need a huge clean and many repairs. The water didn't drain properly in the dishwasher so it smelled terrible, under the couches and between the couch cushions was filthy - we removed handfuls of dirt and debris from the cushions and swept out loads of dirt from under + bottle tops, hair + pair of old thongs! Rug was dirty. The oven leaked out old oil onto the floor. The kitchen was ill equipped, particularly with no oven trays for baking. Broom was ancient + filthy, pool was murky + full of debris. Re maintenance, not all the security screens met their locks, the bedside lamp didn't work, the dryer only worked for about 20 minutes at a time then kept turning itself off, was cracked and broken and after 90 minutes still left clothes damp, the washing machine leaked and there were no toilet brushes. The tv was tiny and only had normal free to air, and the signal kept dropping out so we had to keep fiddling with the aerial to make it work. Beds were hard and uncomfortable and pillows were old, rooms had lots of plastered areas, scratches, black marks, general wear and tear. While some aspects were good, like the brief service we got at check in (we stayed over Xmas so no one there for most of it), the extra car park we were given, the location, quiet, the free wifi which was a decent speed and the full sized fridge, good ensuite and otherwise decent kitchen, the number and type of problems means we wouldn't stay there again. Absolutely dirty.

One of the worse apartments i even been to . Cockroach everywhere i took the pics and show it to the manager . Who herself is so filthy. Dirty carpet, dirty linen, smelly towel. My kids start vomiting at the middle of the night. My daughter got eye infection. I book it for week but only stay 1 night and get another apartment in the morning somewhere else. Stupid manager didn't even refund my money. Ww request her to take half for 1 night and return half she didn't agree .poor service never ever go there again. Waste of money.

It was not as we were expecting as the room interior needs to be very much uplifted. Even the room cleanliness was not good.
The cutlery, plates and other equipments provided in kitchen is not satisfactory.
Sofas in the living room needs to be replaced. For our four days of stay and for four guests during that stay only one small bath soap and one roll of toilet paper was provided. Even the laundry soap liquid and dishwasher liquid also only one small sachet was provided in the room.

Would never stay again, room was very dirty, had to clean before we could use kitchen utensils,still blood on the fridge from last people,no curtains or blinds in the lounge and as we were on the bottom floor people could see in.cockroaches in and outside (hall).was given 3 towels between 4 people went and asked for more and was told I had to pay for it. 3 of us stayed for 3 days -no information available on site or web page about whether any of the amenities are replenished during the stay e.g. toilet paper or washing powder, supplied 2 x teabags & 2 x coffee satchels -no sugar-we found out the next day that no one comes to the rooms -which meant having to go to a supermarket to get toilet paper etc.

the advertising of the rooms is very confusing as the room I booked on Wotif (called a deluxe Riverside Room) had photos when you clicked next to it that showed you looking from the deck over the pool and river, when I arrived I found that i had a room without a view in the middle of the place. Obviously they get to play on the name "Riverside" rather than the room actually being riverside as such. The crockery, cutlery, pots and pans badly need updating and Sharp knives need to actually be sharp, at lease enough to cut tomatoes etc, apart from that the room was nice and clean comfortable and user friendly, having two bathrooms is something they should advertise more as it was a definite bonus
