At first look I was doubtful, it is an old motel. But the rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Staff is super friendly. Quiet. My only complaint was that there was not coffee served in the morning. There was an electric hot water kettle in the room with instant coffee and half and half in the refrigerator which was better than I expected. All in all a good stay.

Spent one night as halfway on road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane. Just near the exist of the M11 tunnel. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Restaurant had great atmosphere and fantastic steaks! Staff were friendly and added to the atmosphere with chats about Hollywood movies with big name stars that were filmed there.

Loved firm mattress with cotton sheets; Fox & Hounds dining was yummy.
However, the bathroom was tiny with a high step into the shower; one window would not shut; AC did not go lower than 16 degrees - too hot overnight; too may stairs (this should be upfront in the description of the motel)

It was a very nice, huge and beautiful room good for the family however we noticed that the room was not fully clean especially the toilet floor it was so dusty and you can see it on your foot after you took a shower and the mark of dirt on the towel on the floor. Both tv was not working “no signal” we couldn’t ask assistance anymore because it was late.
There’s no bin in the toilet so we need to put our trash in the bin outside. Overall we were able to rest for a long trip.
