Room 1 was really comfortable and spacious for a four-night stay. Had everything we needed, loved the bath and stocked mini-bar! Close walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Great coffee at Elementary around the corner and the central market is just a block away. Staff were so lovely checking us in and answering any questions. Highly recommend!

Excellent large room, recently renovated and very well appointed. Complimentary snacks and drinks from the minibar was a nice bonus. Great central location, just 1 street from the Central Market and 2 blocks from the tram and main street. Had a beer and steak in the pub/restaurant downstairs and they were also excellent. Highly recommended.

The room was very comfortable and clean, with nice inclusions like complimentary snacks and drinks. Check in and out was very easy and staff were super friendly. It's easy to walk to anywhere in the city from here. It was very noisy however on Friday and Saturday night outside throughout the night so luckily we brought earbuds and it didn't impact us too much.

An impressively maintained old hotel. Room was spacious with attractive idiosyncratic light fittings. Bathroom with 2 sinks, large bath and shower recess was very well maintained.
Although the bar was busy at the time of my arrivial the staff greeted me pleasantly, and was escorted to the room assigned, primarily to explain the security features of the accommodation area, and verandah.
