Property is very well situated, shops, trams, restaurants all very close & easy walk. Staff very good to deal with. Rooms clean & tidy & well equipped. We had an issue with the air con in our first room & staff handled well but were unable to fix & luckily we could change room. That room fine but an issue with TV & again staff couldn’t fix. Both needed someone off site to come in next day & sort. Can understand that for air con but not a TV. Staff very good but management need to equip them to sort these issues on site when problem occurs not the next day

Room was fantastic, very modern with a comfy bed. Location was excellent, right in the heart of Melbourne.
We had a great stay as a travelling couple and will definitely stay again.

Sadly, housekeeping lost my white t-shirt and couldn't get it back.
Housekeeping for the first day was great, but the second day apparently it was rushed - hair ties were scattered across the vanity, my glasses were put on the counter with the glass side down, and my t-shirt gone. It was white and laid on the bed, so it's probably taken by mistake during linen change.
The concierge was kind enough to note that down for me, but the only reply was that they checked and didn't find anything.
Well, you didn't find it doesn't mean you didn't lose it. And this is the first time I lost something in a hotel room.

This place was amazing. Located just behind Burke St Mall, you can walk anywhere for food, shopping, entertainment. The room was large, clean and classy. The bed was so comfortable. We stayed for a well overdue night away from the kids and we couldn’t have been happier with the Howey. We will be back.

Central Melbourne, walking distance to everything. Lovely small hotel with big luxurious feeling rooms. Lovely staff, easy checkin and check out. Cool decor and great price. If I come to Melbourne I would not hesitate to stay at the Howey again. Just a five star experience all round.
