The Playford is our favorite hotel in Adelaide. It’s very welcoming and nicely designed. The staff do a wonderful job. The rooms are 5 star and well appointed. We love the location and transportation is very easy with the trams right out front and the Casino and train station across the street. Can’t recommend more highly.

The Playford was the perfect hotel for our 3 night visit to Adelaide. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, location is vibrant and convenient but the staff at the front desk made all the difference. At check in we met Ricky who recommended awesome excursions and neighborhood restaurants that were simply outstanding.

We love this hotel; it is our go-to. We were disappointed, though on this trip, that our room was not serviced. We had left at 8:30 am and returned at 2:30 pm. The bed was still unmade, and no clean towels. We think that it would have been very reasonable to service the room in this time frame

Had a weekend stay in the loft apartment, the space was amazing and quiet.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The vegan breakfast options were great.
Would definitely recommend this stay, especially throughout the fringe period.
