Very Courteous. Entire Staff.

A/C was great, the room was set up beautiful & the receptionist ordered a taxi at my request for the next morning which was on time. Also, ice cold water & beer in stock there at a great price, thank you Belcove!

Air conditioning was great, wifi worked well, staff was friendly & helpful.

The room was about as clean as other rooms, the staff was great, AC worked great with dark curtains. The hotel can do your laundry, call a cab, & make suggestions. I stayed in a regular room with AC & private bath. It can be pretty loud at night, depending on the what day of the week it is. Then other nights, it was completely quiet. I was able to connect my firestick to the TV! I was able to walk to the markets, water ferries, & street food was 2 doors down. 😊 Cons No heat - it gets very cold after it rains, ask for 2 blankets Mosquitoes in the room - once I received a mosquito repellent coil from the staff, I believe most of them were gone afterwards

This is a modest guest house with friendliness and charm. It’s walking distance to the water taxi and downtown Belize City. It was clean, the coffee was hot and strong. It was also quiet. Thank you.

Hotel is old and facility needs repair and maintenance. Not really good for guests staying.

Clean and comfortable room with nice amenities, polite staff, but best just for sleeping. Close to swing bridge for ferry travel. Neighborhood restaurants were closed except for street stalls, guys hang out there with a bit aggressive begging.

The lady who checked me in was very nice. It is nice to sit on the shared deck and look at the canal. Room was small but had everything needed.

The property is clean. Having a dock for river boats is interesting and adds a little charm to the hotel. The room is very clean and spacious. The toilet paper and other accessories are extra sufficient. Staff was helpful. A gentleman even walked me to the grocery store and told me about the buildings in the way. The decor of the room was nice. When I walked in the room, TV was on and was playing some soothing music, which was very nice.

Decent price, good for one night if you want to be near the water taxi. It's a bit complicated with a baby carriage since there are 3 levels of stairs. The view off the dock and balcony is relaxing. They accepted Visa and MasterCard and the rate was reasonable. The room has AC, shower with hot water, TV with plenty of channels and it felt secure but door secondary lock could be improved for further guest safety. Overall it met my expectations and needs.

The room was nice, clean and quiet. There are balconies on every floor overlooking the canal. If you're staying in Belize City, it's in a convenient location. The staff are very helpful and polite.

The hotel is way overpriced for what we received. It was the second smallest room we have ever stayed in, and we have travelled a lot--just wide enough for the double bed. The walls are paper thin. No hair dryer. The door to the bathroom is half-width. The area is sketchy at night; locals on the street warned us not to walk beyond the hotel. There are pros, however: The staff are pleasant. It has a nice deck with a view over Haulover Creek (mind the mosquitoes). It is handy to a decent restaurant, The Old River Bar & Grill. It is also handy to the ferries to Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye and to downtown shops.
