Copal Tree Lodge, a Muy'Ono Resort

We watched the Hollow monkeys for hours there were so many of them in the trees and listening to them at night was simply beyond anything you can imagine the customer service at the resort was amazing and we felt like we were in heaven

Outstanding stay at Copal Tree Lodge! What a wonderful and special place, with fantastic food and service. We stayed in the Canopy Suite and loved the views from both the room and the infinity pool. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!

Amazing property in the jungle with lots of wildlife and insects and bugs that you never see in the united states, small group excursions that are pricey but also cool, decent food and drinks and amazing staff

A TV was missing. I understan the wilderness concept bur some of us travel with kids.

I was a solo traveler and had an excellent time! The room was beautiful and I really appreciated the hammock in the screen porch and the shower view of the jungle! Staff was so friendly, lots to do but also beautiful venue to relax as well. Would recommend the healing nature walk with Elon to learn about native jungle plants used for medicinal and traditional healing!

Staff was very friendly. Views from the room, restaurant, and infinity pool were amazing, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. However, the shower only had hot water for 5-10 minutes. The trolley to the river was broke, so we walked up and down 180 steps every time we went to the river and hiking trails. At the river, there was no staff to assist with launching the kayaks. Overall, hotel provides a great experience. Just be prepared to climb alot of steps and bring plenty of mosquitoe repellant. You'll also need to bring your own screens if you want to watch tv.

Beautiful place with a wonderful staff.

The staff are very friendly though the service is variable and often slow. The furniture in the rooms needs updating. Inconsistent pricing with the wines. Different price in the bar to the restaurant. 30 dollor difference. They had ran out of a Cantena Alta Malbec and offered as a standard Catena Malbec at the same price, despite representations from us that this was clearly wrong. We feel the tours are over priced. The problem is that they have you as a captive audience as there are no alternative options to take up due to the remoteness of the location

The room especially the shower was gorgeous . The bartender Duckey was ten toes down the Best!!!!

Each area seamlessly blends with the natural environment, enhancing its charm. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. During my visit with friends, we enjoyed delightful Copalli rum and delicious meals celebrating local flavors. Copal Tree Lodge has become my go-to destination for escaping daily life, offering tranquility and a deep connection with nature. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this remarkable retreat!

Our stay began with welcoming staff providing us with thorough information regarding our stay, gifts and a yummy welcome drink. The accommodations were excellent, we especially liked the shower overlooking the jungle. We only stayed 2 nights but did get a chance to do the mixology class and snorkel with the chef. Both were excellent. My favorite was waking up to the noises of the jungle that included howler monkeys and birds. So peaceful and a great adventure.

Loved the howler monkeys and the people. Elon was fantastic and Domingo really went out of his way to show us the sugar cane. Melanie is amazing.

A beautiful lodge in the jungle. Awesome room and contact with the nature. Lots of monkeys. The only thing that could improve was the restaurant. Some of the waiters were slightly demotivated, it took a very long time for the food to arrive (even if you were the only person in the restaurant!) and the food selection was very little. The rices are matching the high end resorts but the service not yet. For instance a $200 massage on a sheet with blood stain should be a no go. But overall a nice experience.

We could hear the howler Monkeys. Wonderful dining! Great staff.
