Everything and everyone was amazing! The perfect location and staff!

Our stay at Mangata Villas in San Pedro was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Communication before and during our stay was excellent — responsive, friendly, and genuinely accommodating. When one of our pieces of luggage didn’t arrive, the team immediately offered help in any way they could, which really put us at ease. The casita itself was extremely comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. It was well appointed with everything we needed for a longer stay, and it felt fresh and welcoming the moment we arrived. You can tell cleanliness and attention to detail are a priority here. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming — from check-in to check-out. The amenities truly made this a restful and relaxing stay: the pool, lounge chairs, games, and the Moon Bar all added to the experience. The Moon Bar deserves a special mention — the pizza was amazing and very fairly priced, making it a great spot to unwind. We would absolutely stay at Mangata Villas again and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Ambergris Caye. A perfect blend of comfort, service, and relaxation.

Friendly and VERY HELPFUL STAFF AND OWNERS! Always available and went above and beyond to help book and secure things needed/wanted. The location was perfect. not right in the middle of everything. The perfect mix of seclusion but still access to activities and the town.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mangata Villas. It’s clean, quiet, private and in a gorgeous location. The owners are on site and very attentive—any question, concern or issue we had was resolved quickly and efficiently. They reserved us our golf cart rental and met us there when we arrived. The resort is beautiful, the food and drinks are super yummy, and the beach is clean and user friendly. We will definitely come back!

Our stay was amazing. Everything was perfect. Could not ask for a better place to stay. The Casita we rented was wonderful. Having a place to get food and drinks onsite was great. Mangata was an amazing resort. It’s clean, small, quiet, fun and was everything we wanted. Outside of town, but with restaurants and bars nearby. The grounds are well kept, the bartenders, drinks and pizza were great. The owners, Justin and Jennifer, were amazing and extremely helpful when we had a small issue (nothing to do with the resort). We will recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

We have never had a vacation go as smooth. From before arrival until we departed, everything was excellent.

Great property. The owners were wonderful and helpful with any questions or suggestions. The villa is located a little bit out of town but we prefer the peace and quiet over the downtown life. Also it’s pretty close to secret beach which was the best beach we found.

We had an incredible stay at Mangata Villas! The owners, Serena and Aaron, went above and beyond to make sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. They arranged our golf cart rental, put us in touch with a great tour company, and arranged for covid testing in our casita prior to our departure. The casita itself was so comfortable and had everything we could need. It was nice to have a (fully stocked!) kitchenette and the option to cook our own meals when we didn't feel like eating out. The pool and beach were the perfect places to relax, and Moon Bar's pizza was amazing! We would definitely recommend Mangata Villas to our friends and family.

We could not have asked for anything better. We stayed for 1 week in the Moonbeam casita and could not have been happier. Aaron and Serena (the hosts) met us at the airport and escorted us to the resort. The casita was spacious, comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and with all of the amenities one could need. Just steps from the beach, the pool, and the Moon Bar, it was the perfect balance of beach-front access and privacy. It is also hard to understate the hospitality of Aaron and Serena. They helped guide us to great activities, were always responsive, and amazingly accommodating when we had a glitch in our arrival. The resort is north of the city a bit, but the trip by golf cart was easy. The Moon Bar on site is open 12:00-9:00 (11:00 on Fri, Sat) and serves great pizzas and drinks. We enjoyed meting many new people there. A few steps down the beach is Portofino, if you are looking for a robust breakfast or top-quality dining. The kitchenette in the casita was perfect for making our own breakfasts and snacks. I would highly recommend Mangata Villas for your visit to San Pedro. We hope to go back soon!

Loved our stay! Such a charming property just far enough away from town. The property is very modern, clean, and up to date with all the comfort features you could want, WiFi etc. Serena and Aaron go out of their way to make you feel at home. They helped with everything we wanted to do on the island, gave us ideas about places we should check out and eat. I can not say enough about our stay. Just do it, you will not be disappointed. We will be returning here for sure. Oh one last thing, a must. Their coconut mojito is the best on the island ❤️ and I tried a lot of them.

My best friend and I stayed at Mangata Villas from June 5-10. I have no complaints about our stay. Upon booking, I was concerned about how far it is from San Pedro Town (30 minutes), but we actually loved being out of the busy and stressful atmosphere of town. I highly recommend renting a golf cart because it makes transportation so much easier. Serena and Aaron were quick to respond to any request and are so friendly! It felt like we had the place to ourselves at some points because it’s not a huge resort. Love that! I could go on and on, but you really just have to experience it yourself.

Aaron and Serena are very welcoming hostS and their place is amazing, they helped us to organize excursions and discover restaurants, we really recommend mangata villas if you visit the San Pedro area, our vacation was perfect!
