Super Lage in eiem große Park am Fluß. Es werden viele Aktivitäten angeboten. Gutes Restaurant.

Sehr schöne Lage in eiem kleinen Wildpark.Die Chalets liegen am Fluß und sind gut ausgestattet. Gutes Restaurant mut Terrasse am Fluß. Vielfältige Safariaktivitäten können dort gebu ht werden.

O Lodge nitidamente necessita de manutenção.Refeiçoes fracas. Além disso tivemos uma pessima experiência com um dos pacotes que o hotel ofere( biking) que além de fazer o mesmo percurso das caminhadas ( nada de novo) é uma armadilha para os turistas que são achacados no meio do percurso, longe de tudo, para pagar 85 dólares por 40 minutos de passeio no meio do nada. Não recomendo!

The staff are very obliging and warm and very friendly. Service is good and rooms comfortable with good beds.

A pleasant surprise, better than what we expected based on other reviews, especially considering the pricing compared to most other places in Botswana. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we had plenty of bottled water in the room (3 - more than all other places we stayed at), WIFI in the room (also a rarity), hairdryer and shampoo (not always provided). The property's garden is nice and full with birds & there are several walking trails to explore. The chalets show their age and could use a refresh & there can be some noise from around the property, but these were marginal negatives for us.

For the price, this was a great place to stay, super friendly staff and awesome tours from here

The Island Safari Lodge is a great option for those staying in Maun to explore the Okavango Delta, Chiefs Island, and Morami. The property is massive with extensive walking trails and wildlife. The entire property is also walled and gated so you won’t encounter dangerous animals. The lodging is a bit dated so think of a higher end cabin experience as opposed to a hotel. The grounds are beautifully tended with lots of trees and greenery. The staff were all really friendly and helpful when we needed something. The restaurant on the property is a great place to eat. We booked safaris that left directly from the lodge and we’re not in the least disappointed. We saw some amazing wildlife in Moremi. The Delta was really relaxing on the water and they stay fairly close to the shallow areas so it’s safe and you can view a wide range of birds. The walking tour was also amazing. Altogether the Island Safari Lodge was a great experience.

We enjoyed the setting here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner each night and enjoyed it. Breakfast was good. A/C worked well but only had WiFi at the lodge. We actually enjoyed sitting at the lodge and watching the view. Staff was great

The place is clean, the staff are nice and helpful, but there isn’t much of an atmosphere. One of the two swimming pools looked completely abandoned and dirty. Unless you have activities during the day, there isn’t much to do at the hotel. The food is average too.

Assessment already stated. You should redesign your questionnaire & be satisfied with whatever respondents give you & not require mandatory entries. So this is the last time I’ll respond to a request to complete a “survey.“ I suspect this is all AI stuff & no human will set eyes on this, let alone consider the comments !!?

Bungalos were pleasant and clean. We also took a safari outing that was very good. Food and service were average.

Not ideal place to stay for Business - Poor Wi-Fi connection

The hotel is not new and has a bit patina, but overall very nice. Sit under tall, mature trees overlooking the river and enjoy the amenities of a good restaurant with a wide selection, was a special experience. The hotel garden, where monkeys and squirrels frolic, is almost mystical. In the evening turtles dig from the river, in the distance we saw a hipo. Incidentally, the swimming pool of the camping area is much larger and nicer than the pool of the lodge. We stayed there for three nights and would like to repeat it. The travel agency attached to the hotel was very helpful and organized a horse-ride on a neighboring lodge.

Am Ende unserer Botswana Reise haben wir zwei Nächte in der Island Safari Lodge relaxed. Einchecken war etwas zäh, aber letztendlich haben wir unser Wunschzimmer erhalten und wir haben die ruhige, angenehme Atmosphäre der Lodge genossen.

Die Lodge war ein Zwischenstopp für einen Flug ins Okavango-Delta. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und ausreichend sauber. Leider gab es keinen Safe in den Zimmern, so dass wir bei der Rezeption fragten, ob wir unsere Wertsachen einschließen können. Leider konnten wir nur von 14 bis 17 Uhr dann an die Wertsachen erneut wieder dran oder am nächsten Morgen ab 8 Uhr (was mit unserem Flug kollidierte). Kein großes Problem, aber deshalb wären flexiblere Zeiten an der Rezeption zum Abholen der Sachen wünschenswert gewesen. Trotzdem können wir die Lodge empfehlen, da sie sehr ruhig gelegen ist außerhalb von Maun

We loved our stay at Island Safari Lodge! The lodge is in an absolutely gorgeous setting right on the River, which means it is very serene and beautiful, however it is a 20 minute taxi drive away from town which can be a bit of a hassle if you plan on going into town for dinners or night life. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They seamlessly helped us in arranging airport transfers and a river tour. I would suggest arranging your own taxis to and from town though, the lodge charges $12 USD each way for a taxi into town but we were able to find taxis that would take us for $4 USD each way. The chalet was basic, but clean. The beds could have been a little more comfortable and the room was very dark (could have used more lighting) but overall it was fine and comfortable. Overall a very serene, relaxing, and amazing experience at a competitive price. I would recommend this more for families than groups of young friends - there is not a bar scene here at night, that is better found at Backpackers or Okavango River Lodge. However there was live music one night from a good guitar player. I would definitely recommend this lodge to others and would stay here again in the future!

we were treated as in a 4/5 star hotel. Service was excellent, surroundings were too beautiful, the kitchen was very good. All in all a very good experience. We would come again and recommend this Island paradise to all.

We stayed 1 night, ok, I would not stay longer Room ok, but no Moskito net. Bad smell in room Food was terrible. Nice surroundings, right at the river side
