Bamboo Jam

The rooms were simple but comfortable, in a perfect location on a lively beach. Staff was helpful and food was great.

Hotel à éviter car le prix ne correspond pas à la qualité des prestations. les chambres sont des paillotes conçues de bric et de broc avec des salles de bains à l'exterieur de la chambre qui sont constamment humides et donc qui sentent le moisi (avec les moustiques qui en font leur nid).

Petit Dej extra. Personnels accueillants et souriants. l'ensemble est correct mais au vu des prix affichés par l'établissement je reste sceptique. moustiquaire complètement trouée. Le ménage n'est fait qu'a la demande. les serviettes inchangées même pour séjour moyen. SdB et toilettes à l'extérieur de la chambre. pas d'eau chaude, pas de pression. wifi médiocre beaucoup de bruit provenant du resto à côté (de 8h à 23h00 sans interruption) Me la jouer Crusoé ne me dérange point, au contraire,mais pas à ce prix là.

Some of the positives: Hotel manager was super nice - he picked me and my luggage up at my first hotel and had someone help me with luggage to the pier for departure. There is free laundry and nice smelling body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. Water refills are also free and a beautiful very large breakfast is served at your bungalow every morning. Some of the negatives: The room was nice and clean however there are no windows so air is stagnent and with the humidity and heat the thatch siding and roof start to smell. The bathroom was similar, no windows or airflow made it very damp all day long. There is also no hot water, which I would expect for the price. WiFi connection was very hit or miss but mostly miss in the bungalows, again for the price would’ve expected better. Also, while the restaurant is beautiful and food is delicious, everything is very high priced for the island and staff were pretty inattentive to customers, I had to get the attention of staff, who all sit at a table together eating and talking at night, when I was ready to order, if I needed something else and when I wanted to pay, again when you are paying $10-20 for a meal (when $5-10max is standard) you’d expect better service. Overall it was a nice stay, but expensive for what you get. I think the place is fairly new so hopefully improvements can be made that would make it a 5 star experience.

El personal inmejorable, Borja, Claudia, Andy, Camile... Te hacen sentir como en casa. La comida muy buena, desde aquí felicitaciones a las cocineras buena música, y buen ambiente en la terraza a pie de playa Gracias a todos los de Bamboo Jam por hacernos pasar una estancia inmejorable.

Look no further and book your stay at Bamboo Jam. The wonderful breakfast is served outside your bungalow every morning. You have a lot of privacy with your own patch of sand inside the fence. Saracen Bay is also fantastic! Not too crowded and lots of cozy restaurants and bars. Everything you need is on the beach (restaurants, bars, mini market, laundry++), so you will not need to wear shoes for your entire stay :) The sand is very white and you will not burn your feet, also a big plus. The ocean temperature is almost 30 degrees Celsius.

Our stay at Bamboo Jam was simply amazing! First of all it is nice and close to the pier and two staff members where there to help carry our suitcases the short walk to the property (use Buva Sea and GTVC ferries to get there). We stayed in one of the bungalows and being right on the beach was stunning! The bungalows themselves are roomy and comfortable. Everything was always clean and the hose to clean your feet before going inside was great so sand wasn't tracked everywhere. The breakfast was beyond amazing! We had eggs, bacon, toast, museli, fresh fruits, juice and coffee all served at the table and chairs outside the bungalow which was beautiful. The owners daughter was so helpful and made our stay so easy. We loved it so much at Bamboo Jam and were so sad to leave. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Koh Rong Sanloem.

Muito dificil escrever essa review, pois tivemos uma péssima experiencia e um ótimo atendimento. Vou escrever os fatos. Chegamos no principio da noite no hotel, nosso bangalo era de frente a praia. Dentro do quarto a luz era fraca. O banheiro privativo era fora do quarto, não tinha agua quente e agua não era clara. Até ai tudo bem, sabíamos o que tinhamos reservado. O que não estava no pacote era encontrar um rato no nosso quarto. Não era uma ratazana de cidade, mas era um rato. Na mesma hora decidimos sair do hotel e comunicar o fato por e-mail para o dono (Jefrey) do hotel. No dia seguinte fomos até la, o conhecemos pessoalmente e ele falou que estavamos na selva, sendo assim era um risco que corriamos. Disse também que iria deixar o nosso antigo quarto disponivel, e se ocorresse locação, nos daria o dinheiro da mesma. Algumas horas depois ele nos contactou e disse que tinha alugado o quarto por um valor menor, por ser em cima da hora, e nos repassou o dinheiro (dois quintos do que pagamos). Resumindo, tive no minimo falta de sorte, gastamos mais com outra hospedagem de teto de concreto, mas fomos muito bem tratados pelos donos da Bamboo Jam.

Best place pn Koh Rong Sanloem with a wonderfull view and white sand beach! Perfect!

There was construction going on at the property so there was a lot of noise from 7:30am to 6pm (constant sawing and hammering through the day). Couldn’t sit outside to enjoy the chairs and hammock. Stayed 4 nights and towels were not changed. There are no toiletries provided.

Super Lage direkt am Pier. Nette Belegschaft, wenn auch aufgrund von Umbaumaßnahmen nicht so gut verfügbar (Vorsaison). Leider hatte auch die Bar / Rezeption wegen Umbaus geschlossen. Liebevoll eingerichtete Bungalows und täglich wurde im und vorm Bungalow ("Garten" & Strand) sauber gemacht. Jeder Bungalow hat eine Hängematte, zwei Liegestühle und zwei Sitzschalen im "Vorgarten" stehen. Das Frühstück war super und ist jeden Dollar wert. Leider hört man nachts relativ laut einen Stromgenerator, was manche Leute stören könnte. Insgesamt eine super Anlage, sehr gerne wieder.

Bel ensemble de bungalows colorés en borde de plage, avec espace privatif entre le bungalow et la plage : Chaises, table basse et hamac, parfait pour boire un cocktail devant la plage au sable blanc et eaux turquoises ! Chambre charmante, belle déco, lit confortable, moustiquaire, SDB privative séparée. Propre Petite déjeuner au top, type brunch, le meilleure de nos 15 jours au Cambodge ! Et pour finir, une équipe (des francais la plupart) très sympathique, relax, parfait pour un séjour sur une île paradisiaque. Le proprio a une histoire particulièrement interessante. De belles personnes à rencontrer qui mettent du coeur pour faire au mieux possible. Bon ils ont failli nous faire rater notre bateau retour (ce qui nous a couté 1 ticket de plus), mais ils sont pardonnés, incompréhension avec les locaux du quai d'embarquement. Merci beaucoup Bamboo Jam ! On ne regrette pas !
